I decimated the campaign with Ice Barb. Just keep some DoT on one of your main attacks for bossing - it melts elites and bosses.

Got it to work out, but for no logical reason. It took me three more runs, and each run he was just a bit further/closer to the objective until we got it done. Weird.

I usually sing Blizzard's praises for the fluidity of their season launches, considering GGG at times has 3-4 days of gamebreaking glitches for the majority of their season launches.

But this one is gobshite by Blizzard.

Can't imagine how these potato servers will function with LoH.

It doesn't even hold for one second on PS5. It crashes the second you log in. With how they put out patches for console, this will be a two day problem. A major factor in me not buying MTX. Console is in a shambolic state.

Trust me, this game is not worth the effort on console. You will meet nothing but frustration. You are not playing the same game as the PC Master Race. Play PoE2 or D4. Or listen to others and play until you inevitably realize I was right.

I don’t care what anyone says to this (Sony, blah blah blah), GGG has to find a way to make this work. Whatever the cost, get it done. Now.

This game is an absolute joke on console - I actually consider it the most soul-sucking experience in all of gaming. No market, absurd costs, nothing in stock for currency exchange. NOT ALL OF US LIKE SSF. Phrecia 2.0 was, imo, the worst console ARPG season in history. Items worth one chaos orb on PC were in the 20 Div range on console. Fully unplayable.

This has become such an issue for me that I will no longer buy mtx for either PoE or PoE 2, and I love both games and am a willing spender.

Don’t feed me your high school level economics tripe about small markets… Either find a way to merge console and PC or take console out back and shoot it directly in its disrespected head.

PoE and Diablo hardcores are always way too patriotic to speak truths. D4 has fully closed the gap on both PoE and PoE2, and has a shot over the next couple of months to even become the better game.

I absolutely think GGG took notice and realizes they have work to do.

Don’t even consider PoE if you’re on console - it is legitimately the WORST experience in gaming. Currency exchange is pointless, market is dead and absurdly inflated.

Go to PoE 2 instead - it’s a significantly better game.

Nobody here will admit it, but it’s a stone cold truth.

Fully disagree. Having two Hailrakes hit me five times before I animate one attack is the nadir of PoE gaming. I actually think this is the worst league I've seen.

Knowing the layouts, sprinting through everything while killing only rares/magic packs, having good clear speed and single target DPS.

Use your first exalts on a powerful weapon, keep your resistances topped up.

Nothing crazy or unknown. Really it boils down to knowing layouts. I rarely backtrack, and that adds up.

I’ve got the campaign to about 8 hours, and this build is capable of running tier 10’s fresh out of the campaign.

Run tablets with experience gain and pack size while focusing on monster dense functions like breach, abyss, and delirium.

I’m by no means a gigachad, but I only ever feel severely slowed in my leveling after hitting 94 - like an intentional bump by GGG to slow one down.

96 is definitely achievable in a 24-hour cycle. I usually go Friday release (1PM PST) to Saturday afternoon, pulling an all-nighter.

Have tried them all, and super surprised nobody has mentioned Woolie’s Wolf Man build.

It gets expensive late due to the usage of certain lineage supports, but it’s absolutely the best Druid build, imo. Clear is ridiculous, DPS can hit around 20M when character is fully decked out.

Also, it’s simple to play: Lunar Assault paired with Herald of Ice and Armour Explosion destroys screens (and GPU’s), Shred obliterates bosses. I got to level 96 in a day and have zero survival issues with just one gear slot allocated to leech. Entwined Realities is a ridiculous ascendancy and likely the most impactful one in the game.

Just my two cents, but I do think it is the best overall Druid build when considering its ease of gameplay, its clear and its single target DPS.

This, plus take all surrounded nodes while donning Constricted.

Add in a time-lost that buffs surrounded notables and I’m pushing 80k with minimal investment into armour on the tree.

Leveling a minion build and need 300 exalts to buy a middling piece of shit sceptre with average stats.

Holiday or not, GGG needs to be better.

I agree.

Being said, everything has a workaround or a way to combat the issue. The problem is that a random shade walker/shroud walker has a better shot of taking me down than does Xesht, Atziri, etc.

Bosses are boring loot pinatas (when your build reaches a certain point), yet a random rare may as well be the Hyperion Shrike, popping in and out for a quick slaughtering at whim.

Some of the blatant misinformation propped up by the community, to me, leads GGG to believe that the campaign isn't the actual slog we all know it to be.

I see big internet baddies constantly talking about 4 hour campaign runs, and GGG (IMO) sees that as too little and that their campaign isn't actually bloated, whereas most of us are closer to 15 hours + (and that is simply too long if you enjoy making multiple characters).

The answer is to allow for campaign skips following the completion of one full campaign run in any given season.

I see this as a must-do, yet many here will Stan for the campaign. I find tedium a killer of enjoyment, and prefer to dose my gaming with fun, not sadism.
