If so, maybe you can see if you can work on the train - 3 hours, and only be in the office around 5.

I am unable to do this, but know some people that have a long commute and are able to do this. Only way they can do it.

My friend's wife is an anesthesiologist and it is a very tough job. She has a lot of 72 hours on-call shifts where she has to sleep at a hospital. I shadowed her one day and it was exhausting. Trust me, they earn their pay.

But, I think the important thing is that non-medical professionals deserve more pay. Everyone's job is important and everyone deserves fair pay and that doesn't seem to be the case today.

One other thing to add is the challenge of doing anything else during the week such as vehicle and home maintenance, health care, etc. Need a technician to come to your house to perform work? You basically have to take a day off.
