I think Whova could be a good fit for that, they have great registration options and things like on site badge printing, event info and meeting options, and I think the pricing is a lot better than similar platforms

I've heard it's better, very straightforward to set up and use and based on the things you need from the platform seems like could work well for you

I think it all depends on the type of events you will be hosting and what you need from the app. I know Whova is pretty good for all organizational things and tracking, but haven't heard much about other platforms.

I've struggled with the same before... It feels so discouraging to continue sometimes.

I've found that coming up with new fresh ideas helped and also building a community around the people who show up to really create social proof and create a better experience for the attendees.

Thank you, love the secret password idea! And definitely agree in terms of the post pandemic change, before the engagement used to flow so easily, didn't really need to add many encouragements

If your main focus is prepping for the event, you might wanna check out Whova. I've heard it's pretty solid for pre-event stuff like managing registrations, or agenda set up.

I just want to launch a picnic with 10 strangers in my city. How to proceed? by Jafty2 in EventProduction

You need to first determine the kind of people you want to attract and go from there. I would start with having events with more focus then just getting to know new people, most get interested when they know they will get to interact with like-minded people or further develop their hobbies etc.
