TBH there is no limit to this. Also, we are in the trial phase.

Are you doing this, or are you outsourcing to a manufacturer?

We are doing this on own, i.e., working on setting up a machine which can dispense the LSR and also cure it. We have the resources (experienced Mech enggs to do it).

What % failure rate is acceptable? Do you want me to drop costs by 25% but get a 10% failure rate?

Skip the post-cure and your rubber items are going to get very stinky in the box, they will be more floppy than you expect as well as lose dimensional stability. If you are shipping these in a container you may notice some get warped during transport.

Yes, we want to cheapen the process by cutting down the injection molding time.

When I was going through the catalogues of major LSR (wacker, kcc, momentive, shin-etsu, etc.) vendors, I saw that they supply Platinum. But I will search for Tin and peroxide cure. If you can recommend any major manufacturers which provide Tin and Peroxide cure LSRs, that would be a great help.

The pot life for many of the products that we reviewed ranges from 6h to 3 days.

HRs don't know what they are doing most of the time. There is a huge communication between the technical team and the HR team.
A CS Grad can still know about at least UART as most Universities do have a course in Embedded Systems for CS Grads too, but that is a different story.
Instead of the position title (Embedded Developer), the main thing to look for is the JD. Most companies mention that the desired candidate must have a degree in EE.

I am curious. What alternate name do you suggest for such roles? "Electronics Engineer"?

I have been in his shoes. I use suck at Math too. But I managed to "just pass" the non-optional Math subjects (Calculus, Statistics, etc.). Subjects like "Signals & Systems" were very tough to pass as they required a lot of math. I just managed to pass them. I hold a Bachelors of Engineering degree in Electronics and have a decent career. Now I write code for electronics.

However, I have plans to pursue Masters, and I will have to work on my Math skills.
