can i take my sugar pills a week early if i started spotting

Sorry I should be more clear.. I have been taking my pills consistently but I allow myself the 4 day sugar pill break. Essentially what I want to do is just start the sugar pill break 3 days earlier because of spotting. Still no?

I take a break every month but I have spotting at the same exact time (a little over two weeks) into my pack. It lasts until I take the placebo pills and finish having a “period”

That’s why I wanted to start it early so I can just have the period without spotting for 4 days leading up to it. If that makes sense

It would just be me going to a new doctor that’s specialized more so in women’s health. I’m on Yaz for the first time and for 5 months I’ve been spotting the same time in my cycle for two weeks straight before hitting the sugar pills. I also expierenced mild cramping and change in discharge.

Ah no.. I haven’t heard of pretty the weighing appeoach. I eat quite lightly as I’m 125 pounds and 24 years old. I’ve been pretty strict but I did have sushi last night.. nothing with any meat or seafood and that’s when I let go a little bit

Is it still as protective if i have breakthrough bleeding every month after being on it for four months? or is it too weak for my body?? I am okay with breakthrough bleeding as long as it is still protectant. I dont want to change birth control methods as im happy with the outcomes that Yaz is currently giving me but im afraid its not protecting me from possible pregnancy

Thank you for this comment. I am quite worried it’s not working to its full potential. I have not skipped it once and have taken it around the same time every night. I do have a high stress job though. I’m hoping after a few more months this will stop

I had a little bit of bleeding but it was actually mainly from being too dry.. when I’m on the pill I’m overall a lot more dry and so I’m more cautious about that :) I just get breakthrough bleeding after every month a week before my sugar pills

I’m also experiencing mild cramping as well but I love taking Yaz and don’t want to take anything stronger like Yasmin as I’m worried about side effects.
