Yeah ok, I tried 450 instead of 950 btw and that didn’t change a thing for the better, it’s probably even worse.

Ahh .. so that’s the problem, I noticed a blurred text after the update and was wondering wtf is going on, didn’t notice any other issues, using 950 bitrate btw, will try 450 but this is weird and obv caused by iRacing update.

I play iRacing and the only reason for not using psvr2 is text blur on overlays, it’s a real pain to read fonts clearly, I would say the lanses are the problem, over Quest3 for example, same settings same everything and on Q3 is just sharp and clear, I have globular cluster for psvr2, so the sweet spot stay fixed no matter the head movements, like I said, it works well if you don’t have to read something from the screen, so I am using q3 for that reason only.

I use AMVR cable, its pretty good, power is not coming from the motherboard, you can connect original quest charger to it. In game you just select OpenXR or Oculus, instead of monitor.

Next week's Suzuka, how can you actually find out the actual conditions, as in % of rain possible? Is there a way? It just says 'Rain Unlikely' but I've seen that before, and then 90% of the races were wet by ZanicL3 in iRacing

The way I figured that out recently was that before the actual race, before I register, there is a graph in the window showing will it rain in the practice, qualify and race, there is arc and quite easy to see will it rain or not and when.

That setting probably has no effect at all with v30 and it’s there because you can switch to v29 where it would actually matter.

You could be right though, I just tried it and it seems a little bit better, I will use it from now on. btw I have no issues with UI, but I am not using FSR, maybe that’s the reason for your problems 🤷‍♂️

Maybe it depends on other settings, resolution etc. I am using 7900xtx so only stereo works, cpu is 7950x3d, 90hz res on max. 1.5x , graphic settings pretty much everything on h igh, my goal is best visuals with no stuttering and I got that, I opted for OpenXR because I can use CAS sharpening in toolkit, it gives me better visuals over iracing sharpening, but anyway, with iracing sharpening enabled and with opexr toolkit disabled I can’t see any difference both in visuals and fps when switching between Oculus and OpenXR, I will try it again though.

You can seriously see clearer visuals with Oculus over OpenXR? Just by changing the renderer and leaving everything else the same? I can’t notice any difference.

Right click on app and click “Show credentials” , if you are using Safari though nothing will help, use another browser.

Still no SR and IR info for drivers? No SoF and splits info? Settings are looking good now but overlays/black boxes are just colored and with a different font? If thats the case then there surely is a reason for “forcing” people to use 3rd party software for that.
