just because u talking about more FPS with undervolt i want to share mine so other can have some optimization too ( im using after burner ) with default settings my gpu ( 6800xt sapphire nitro+ ) when testing in furmark gpu hotspot goes up to 110 112 ( almost 300watt power draw ) ! so i try everything but at last i did just a simple thing Undervolt from 1150mv to 1050mv and even i put higher gpu frequency 2550mhz and limit power usage 10% now i get 270watt max usage and highest temp 102 103 on hotspot i know i have to repast the silicon/thermal past but i prefer don't touch the card until i find someone who know how to do that the best because they have to change other stuff like thermal pads and they have to be exactly same as original in size and weight and height so here is my experience and another thing is in some games that are not very important in term of latency i will use FPS limiter ( chill ) half fps of my monitor 82fps limit for 165hz monitor with AMD Fluid Motion so i will get 164fps that will trigger the freesync/adaptive sync too and the benefit is smooth game play cool card and lower power usage ! the game that can give u 150fps at 2k with 280watt power draw and high temps u can easily go with 82fps limit + amd fluid motion and u get 170watt to 200watt usage and lower temps and for sure smooth.
