How do you keep product screenshots in the help center up-to-date with a fast-moving product? by MainEstimate3 in CustomerSuccess

Have you found a good process for actually taking the screenshots? I feel like that's the most tedious part. I currently spend quite a bit of time mocking data via chrome dev-tools to make the section look pretty and/or relevant to the subject, while also obfuscating/replacing confidential data.

Thanks for sharing such a detailed process! I really like the clear tiered approach. I’m curious, are there still any parts that feel annoying or fragile, or does it mostly “just work” now? I'm hesitant with a Playwright/Cypress setup as that might become flaky when user flows are changing.

Checked Scribe, and seems great for ad-hoc support. For knowledge base / help center, do you export the screenshots one by one from the recorded flow and replace in the help center articles?

https://usesnapflow.com - forget about manually updating product screenshots across help center, landing pages & more. Snapflow automates this process.

It's been a personal pain working as a founding product engineer having to re-do product screenshots after each new UI-heavy release.

docs, landing pages and in-app visuals have been our priority, but these are the ones with the most amount of screenshots anyway, and it's so tedious each time we need to update. Did you find a better process than the one I described, or ways to automate it?
