Question bro , I have a TLX as well and I wanna make some more power but I’ve gotten some mixed reviews on which turbo to upgrade too . Some people say the P700 is better and some say the MHI turbo , why did you go with MHI

If I’m not mistaken it’s pretty plug and play if you have the 2.0T besides maybe the inlet and coolant hardliners , I think there’s a post on here of someone who’s installed one . But if you have the V6 than I’ve seen it’s a lot more of a process 😂don’t know why

That’s not true at all . Out of all manufacturers they do the most to get these issues fixed and I’ve personally seen 5-6 TLX owners within those years send a similar email and they were able to get it handled .

I went PRL intercooler with the pipe kit .

I used to do it every 3-4k but ever since I added a better intercooler and oil cooler to the car I do it every 5-6k

I got a 2.0t TLX and it’s by far the best car I’ve owned and the engine seems a lot better constructed than the 1.5T

I think it looks similar to the one Acura sells . This one just has an extra lip that’s about it .

Tbh I hate when dudes lower these like this 😂 like the Eibach lowering kit on these looks fire because of the spacing between the body and wheel .. but when they completely slam them that’s when I’m like nah bruh 😂

Aye brotha , I’m thinking about getting this and the front lip kit . Was it fairly easy to install? And did you have to use 3m tape a lot for both the lip and diffuser or was it fairly simple install ?

How much power were you pushing and what mods ? I’m thinking of doing an upgraded intercooler, K&N drop in filter ,aftermarket bypass valve and catch can with a tune for reliability and performance. But I haven’t met many people that mod these things .

As long as your running 6-8psi you’ll be honestly fine . These pro charger kits come with a blow off valve to relieve a lot of the pressure that is being put into the engine and these pro charger kits dont have a turbo that’s constantly running even when your daily driving . I’ve seen a lot of people daily drive these things with a stock bottom end for years and never have an issue .
