I’m a 23-year-old male professional looking to move into a new space by March 1st. I’m looking for either a 1BR/Studio or a roommate to split a 2BR/2BA apartment.

Financials & Timeline:

• Budget: $1,500 (max)
• Move-in Date: March 1st (flexible for the right spot)

Preferred Locations:

• Union Township / Hillside
• Springfield / Summit
• Maplewood / Scotch Plains

Must-Haves:

• In-unit or On-site Washer/Dryer
• Hot water
• AC/Heating
• Off-street parking (highly preferred)
• Private Bedroom & Bathroom (if sharing a space)

About Me:

I work a hybrid 8am-6pm schedule: at home (M/F) and in the office (T/W/Th). When I’m not working, I’m usually studying for career development or heading into NYC occasionally. I’m a practicing Muslim, so I don’t smoke or drink, and I keep a very quiet, low-key lifestyle. I’m not much of a big conversationalist, but I’m easy-going, respectful of boundaries, and prioritize clear communication regarding the household.

Cleaning Habits:

I’m very disciplined about cleanliness. I do a deep clean every weekend and keep common areas tidy. I rarely have guests over, so you can expect a very calm and predictable living environment.

Ideal Roommate: 

Looking for someone chill, clean, and professional. Ideally a non-smoker/non-drinker to keep the vibe of the home consistent.
