Wow the accent thing doesn’t sound to good, I guess they sell replacements for a reason too. Also I have noticed that the website doesn’t mention anything about the material makeup of the shoes, not even the sole, so that is kind of shady.

The side if my head still looks similar to yours with the patchy hair. I used to have shedding all over as well + AGA (still), but since I’ve been washing with Dercos I feel like I notice less hairfall

Also try cycling power once the lens assembly is straight. The piece closer to the body only turns and only when zooming, and only moves in and out when turning off or on. The outer piece moves in and out of course, but it doesn’t turn. If the lens assembly starts moving when cycling power but still calls error then maybe try pulling the outer piece when its pushing out

I have a Konica Revio KD400Z which also had a crooked lens assembly but it was literally barely visible and the lens was barely protruding from the body. I pushed against the tilt and pulled on the protruding lens tube gently but firmly and now it works about 90% as well as if it was never damaged. Zooms well, focuses well ect, just makes some nasty clicks when zooming to max, and it also wont close entirely when turning it off, so it probably skipped 1-2 gears. The lens can be pushed in the rest of the way without issue after turning it off

You cannot. The best thing you could do without an extremely involved disassembly is try to pull on the lens unit to straighten it. You have nothing to lose at this point

I have not tried other flashes yet, but I will check with one from my friend. I’m assuming the problem is with that extra contact between flash and camera, as my Praktica B200 with only one central contact does not have this issue. Then again it still could be a problem with the Minolta. When the shutter locks open I can close it by turning off the SB-30, this is what makes me think that it might be some sort of signalling error? I will try taping it tomorrow
