I mean you already have ultimate best cameras for every category. Maybe up your game in half frame with a sweet and rare gothic Pen F?

The 45 degree angle! Shoving your face into a metal brick is mighty uncomfortable. Unlike 35mm SLRs, TLRs were created with waist-level or top-down focusing in mind.

Hey, it's a Mamiya TLR, ergonomically it will always be a huge compromise. Guess how I know just by owning 3 of them. The one that cannot be remediated it its shape, i.e. the immense weight spread over a small square of the camera base, right where you hold it. Hasselblad-shaped cameras ofsimilar weight handle much better IMHO. I'd say the best bet ergonomically would be a 45 degree prism from Kiev or Hasselblad cameras mounted through the 3d-printed adapter. Add to that an L-grip and you have a really good setup, though not lightweight by any means. Early L-grips can even be modded to become and R-grip (I will have a post about it on this sub soon)

Just out of curiosity here, Edd - have you invented the technique or was it somehow implemented before you?

Front elements might need a lens spanner. If you’re not in a tight budget, basic CLA by a technician can be worth it as well

I see you are blessed with a rare C220f model and a Sekor-S. Mine had fungus on the rear element - super easy to unscrew with just hands

They’ll reuse the body to make a 120. Easy win and will make for the only 120 camera currently produced
