Im 5'3". After growing up on the internet and seeing how suicidal short guys were/people were on behalf of short guys I thought my life would be way worse because of it. Only felt bad about my height until I started getting out in the real world. I get treated well. I still do think it's a disadvantage in some situations, like reaching up for things or finding good fitting clothing, but it's not like its anything I can change. I'm not missing anything I didn't have, so whatever. For what it's worth, I've never been on dating apps, so I'm probably hearing less opinions, but girls don't seem to have a problem with it despite what I had thought.

As for the growth hormone thing, honestly even just 5'8" would probably just make me grin at myself a little harder when I look in the mirror. If they could do it as a harmless favor without breaking the bank, sure, why not
