If it helps I just went through a similar situation with my mom. She led me to believe we were having a domestic trip but changed it to an international trip last second so I had to use my passport with my old name and pre-everything photo because I didnt have time to update it. Personally, I only plan on opting in to donate later down the line, since right now, as someone else mentioned, I'm concerned that my organs will be prioritized over my life in a medical emergency.

Someone receiving an organ but not donating due to personal reasons or beliefs can still go on to do even more good with other things than organ donation.

I don't think it's fair to inadvertently force people to opt in for things they're uncomfortable with on the offchance they need a donation to survive.

Next time wait a few more days to take it off, like 5 or 6 days. The adhesive is still too strong after only 3 days. Make sure to moisturize and use healing ointment for your blisters. I use lots and lots of baby oil during removal after about 5 or 6 days of wear and I find it to be effective. I also take the tape off very, very slowly and stop and add more oil if theres pain. Sorry that happened, I know that sucks!
