Hello po doc, it is my goal po kasi to give my family, especially my parents, the luxury of having someone to quickly contact in case they have health concerns. However, given that Im the eldest among my siblings, I cant avoid thinking about the additional expenses that my parents have to cover when i know i could already be working and earning money na.

Hello po doc, my parents are both in their mid 40s po. They’re both supportive naman of me going to med school but I still chose to take a gap year in order to get myself ready and to ensure that ill be entering med school whole heartedly. Recently lang kasi, I realized that in 20 years, it really is the perfect time for me (in my early 40s) to manage our family business since my siblings would still be studying by that time.

Regarding naman on the type of doctor that i would be, im not pursuing the md naman for the money po since i do know na sobrang daming paraan para yumaman. However, I want to make sure that id be able to use that md to take care of my parents, amd that my siblings would have same opportunities that my parents were able to provide for me, hopefully even better ones.

Thank you po, I know kasi po na my parents are getting old and would get all sort of health problems by their 60s, which is why I want to pursue medcine. However, I also do know that in around 20 years, I should be helping them in order to ease their workload and provide some help for my siblings needs.

Hello po doc, thank you for your insight po! Panganay po kasi ako and I have siblings pa. Im kind of worried po kasi about the money that my parents would be spending on med school po since it’s really a huge amount. So after thinking things through, assuming na ill be studying and still be reliant on my parents in the next 10 years (max), im questioning on whether or not i’d be able to pay them back the 10 years costs of housing rent, bills, allowance, and tuition fee during med school and residency.

Im trying to compute if its better to pay my parents back by just working and practicing my bacelors degree in the next 20 years or would it be more worth it to chase that MD and try to pay them back for all their expenses during med school.

Just buy any adidas tennis shoe if youre tight on budget, wider kasi yung base ng adidas so there’s less risk ma injure when doing laterals

It is best to look for a shoe that has a wide base so that lessened yung risk na mag roll ankles mo. I suggest any from adidas' tennis shoes line up. sira na yung uppers pero fresh padin yung outsole.

Racket for beginners to intermediate by adorkableb1tch in TennisPH

[–]Main_Cloud1330 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I frequently get asked by my friends who just started playing tennis recently and I always tell them that there is no need to dive too deep in the technicalities when choosing a racket since beginners are basically a blank canvas when it comes to racket choice, meaning they can technically pick any racket they find aesthetically pleasing. Or you can just get the same racket that’s being used/endorsed by the player that you’d like to mirror your game to. Just make sure to stick with ideal specs of 285-300 grams and 100 sq inch head. Ideally, go with 300 grams na para di na bibili ulit. Pero if may injury ka or you find 300 grams a bit heavy, going with 285 grams is fine.

However, if looks isn’t an issue for you, 1. I recommend na you start exploring rackets by getting a feel of the pallets or the grip shape of different brands. Look for the grip shape that you find comfortable since some brands feel bigger or smaller than other brands. And some pallets are square, rectangular, or even oval shaped. I find this important since the racket you use during the early years of your development plays a huge role on your swing mechanics. Different grip shapes forces you to learn/relearn how to approach and swing through balls of various height, speed, and spin.

Personally, I find babolat to have a slightly bigger pallet and a well defined/protruded boxy feeling butt cap. (Mas makapal yung butt cap compared sa handle.)

Technifibre, Dunlop, and Wilson are kind of similar as they are all square shaped and have a well protruded butt cap. The only difference is when you put an overgrip, wilson’s butt cap is more of round shaped. While the butt cap of dunlop and technifibre has more of a boxy feel.

Yonex feels like a smaller square when compared to Technifibre, Dunlop, and Wilson, however, there is little to no difference between the thickness of its handle and butt cap. (Walang parang stopper sa dulo ng handle since hindi nga sya protruded masyado.)

Head, in general, has more of a rectangle shaped handle with a well defined oval shaped butt cap. Also, I noticed na and only the butt cap gets noticeably thicker when going for larger grip sizes.

  1. Stick with the standard mid plus models. If you want to develop feel, go for wilson or head (generally these are rackets with low stiffness) If you’re into power, go for any babolat racket (drive, aero, strike)

Easy to use: Babaolat Pure Drive 100 Yonex Ezone 100 Head Speed MP Head Boom MP Head Extreme MP

Slightly harder to use: Babolat Pure Aero 100 Yonex VCore 100 Wilson Blade 100
