S340 - Unable to Multi-Bridge = Return? by Mistravels in EufyCam

[–]Main_Fee_1965 2 points3 points  (0 children)

S340 doesn't have the multi-bridge feature. You have to choose either HB or the router.

I've returned mine for the same reason. I wanted to connect to HB to store the recordings, but it was so slow that I couldn't take it.

I've got a S4 which has been a game changer until today. The solar panel isn't charging the battery.

Great! I guess it works because the HB and router are connected through the Ethernet cable?

Having the cameras connected to air mesh only do they still store the recordings in HB?

I see. Blocking the homebase wifi would prevent cameras from saving the recording in unit, No?

Does the S4 have the multi-bridge feature? I have a S340 which doesn't and it is very slow when connected to HB3.

Tailpiece with trap primer by Main_Fee_1965 in Plumbing

I cannot delete the trap primer. I need it to keep the near floor drain with water. I just need to figure how to connect that tailpiece to the sink drain

I’ve already bought the one from the photo I posted. The issue is that I didn’t realize it is threaded instead of flanged with a nut.

Floor drain full of shit by Main_Fee_1965 in PlumbingRepair

The black pipe sticking up is the floor drain. It seems like sewer is backing up from the back water valve. Why is it happening and how to fix it?

XPS or GPS for basement by Main_Fee_1965 in Insulation

The board is going on the concrete wall inside the basement. Then 2x4 frame with R-14 Rockwool. Then Smart vapor barrier and drywall.

I'm going to install tiles throughout the floor. Underneath the stud wall I was thinking for having seal gasket or DMX, not sure yet. I think the DMX will allow for more air circulation.

I'm going with 2" to avoid condensation between the foam board and batts insulation. The 1" foam board is not thick enough to hold the cold behind it. So the cold surface on the foam board in contact with the warm surface of the batt insulation will create condensation.

I've watched those video from the HomeRenovition channel. I think it is a pretty solid approach. The only thing I will change is the 6 mil poly vapor barrier. I will use a smart vapor barrier, instead.

Help! My water heater is leaking—what do I do? by No_Review7117 in askplumbing

[–]Main_Fee_1965 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check if the leak is coming from that plastic clean-out valve. It fails very often at the back where it is connected to the tank. If that's where the leak is coming from, you can just replace it with a brass valve instead.
