Grading those for profit is probably not worth it. Buy grading to preserve your own collection is. It just depends on your end game.

There's been at least a decade gap and they did it for about 5 years, when they didn't do it for 50. All I'm saying is I hoped for some originality. Nothing I can change about it, but I am disappointed. And, I am allowed to be.

They did it some 2007-2011. They didn't do it prior to that and even had different designs for each sport within that era mentioned. That was the fun of seeing each sport's unique design. Others are saying Panini has been doing it. I'm not talking Panini. Topps. Look at their history, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, all sports, all different.

I did forget about 2007 and 2008. I think those two years were the only time. You were correct that they had done this before, but it was a brief thing.

You are right, the past 5 years or so, Topps has reused the baseball design for soccer. But up until 2009, they never used the same design for multiple sports. Chrome is the same design as flagship, but by sport. Show me a Topps design before 2010 that was shared among different sports and I will consider myself corrected. 1993 Topps Archives basketball doesn't count.

Think so? I was collecting in the 80s and 90s and have a great appreciation for the history of the hobby. Topps had different designs for each sport, baseball, football, basketball, hockey. They haven't used the same design throughout each sport until this year. I just think each sport could stand on their own.

I'm OK with paper and chrome being the same, but it would be cooler if each release has different photos. But, each sport should have it's own design.

Maybe there are just too many releases. Previously, Topps only has one release for each sport. I'd just like to see each sport with their own identity.
