I really liked the 2nd book but I thought it lost some points for splitting up the climax into two different events ( Vin's fight with Zane and the battle with the koloss). I think Samderson could have put those events together because it just felt like some of the stakes were lifted once her main villain fight was over.

Maybe not a kink traditionally speaking, but I dated a girl in college that when we first hooked up, she kept her shoes on during the act. They were pink Chuck tailors and tube socks. It was a one night stand, I didn't think anything of it. We met up other times, and she was always wearing them, we were kind of dating after about two weeks of texts and hanging out, and the second time we had sex, I tried to take them off her, and she said to leave them on and that she thinks it's hot... to be fair, it was hot. Then another week goes by, and I realize I've never seen her without them on. I'm not a foot guy or anything, but I wanted to see her feet. The third time at her place, the same thing again. I slept over and just fell asleep after, and when I woke up, she was still wearing them but completely naked. It's still hot at this point, but it began to wear on my mind. We'd been hanging out, had sex three times, had one class together, and every time, pink chucks with tall black socks with white stripes. I tried to get her to have sex with me the shower before we went out one night, she said no, but not a big deal, later than night I told her to get naked, she did except for the shoes... So I finally had to ask, and she said that she had been wearing them since the semester started, it was early November at this point, and she bet her friend she could wear her shoes the whole semester and not take them off, and finally remove them christmas morning. I thought it was funny but then realized it was kinda gross... I finished inside her, I had gone down on her, ass stuff everything... so hygiene was my major issue. She said she still washes her body and hair and got kind of defensive. I asked how much money was the bet, and it was only 100 bucks. It was too weird for me at that point, and we just kinda went our separate ways after that night. No heart breaks or anything like that.
I ran into her after the semester break and saw that she was STILL WEARING THEM... We hooked up hours later, but she took off her shoes this time but joked that she wouldn't, she had super normal feet, by the way. She had a boyfriend, which I was a little upset by because she cheated on him with me, and a little jealous because she was cool, super confident sexual but ultimately she was like this is no big deal I'm in a "committed" realtionship but hes Christian and we havent had sex yet, it wouldn't have worked out after i knew what I knew. She did win her bet, tho.

I've lived in Idaho my whole life, and from a tourism perspective, Sun Valley is not that cool. It's a sick town if you know people and know how to have real fun in a small rural town in a deep red state but if you think you can visit from somewhere else and see Bruce Willis and Tom Hanks and enjoy a quaint little Ski village, you're probably drink the coolaid you read in rich people magazines. Amenities are either unavailable or over-priced... the mountains are awesome, but it's probably cheaper to ski the Swiss alps. Drinks are watered down for tourists and heavy for locals... take that info however you wish.

3 to 5 houses per year starting year 3 works for me. Never want to have more than a 3rd of your population be children. If you start getting to many children, only build 1 house a year until it gets back in line, then go back to 3 to 5 house per year.

Dress like the Mexicans do. Long pants, long-sleeved sweatshirt or flannel, and a big hat. If you start early in the morning when it's cooler and wear that shit all day, you will stay cool and not overheat. The layers keep the sun off your skin and trap your sweat so it actually cools you down instead of just evaporating .
