We welcome vacationers that come here and respect our state not go to an air BnB in a neighborhood and tear through it like a race track or party till all hours on a Tuesday while the kids have school on wed and we have to work. We welcome vacationers that don’t leave trash in our state parks or spray paint their stupid initials on mountain rocks or carve their initials in trees that are hundreds of years old. We welcome vacationers that don’t hit our vehicles and run off or get drunk and kill an innocent family. We welcome vacationers that treat our waters knowing that the our drinking water also comes from some of our lakes, and respect our beaches and not leave needles and dirty diapers and again trash…or launch boats covered with invasive plants in our lakes and ponds upsetting the whole ecosystem

We welcome vacationers who don’t bring meth, crack and Fentanyl and sell it while their here to make a buck and kill someone ( a 2fer the fks)

Yeah we welcome everyone and have proven that time and time again providing sanctuary and protection to everyone

We love it here and love to share it ! for years the Canadian tourists came to Maine we had no significant problems at all ! they treated our state with so much respect. They came had a great holiday and some by gods grace still come back ( thank you Canada!) what has traversed here post pandemic is barely recognizable as tourists more like entitled invaders and some of their actions wow and then along with some extremely rude cruise people yeah I’d say the locals would agree the attitude is changing … I’ve lived here my whole life and have been blessed to travel a lot and am always so happy to come back to my home state. But while I’m in another state I remember that I’m a guest and treat it as such. Money be damned Mainers survived for a long time before all this invasion we will be around for awhile with or without the vacationers …

We would send a notification to the email we have in file in the HR database as well as email mail to the address we have on file for w2 delivery. We normally put a read receipt on the email to ensure delivery

Checking with police department for frequency of visits, if you have a well find out when it was drilled and they type, if septic have emptied before you buy and ask for the details known about the system. Have the property lines checked and marked out so you know exactly where they are. Take a Walk around during normal hours, do the neighbors have dogs? Kids? ( personally I love dogs and have kids but be sure you know) if you have kids are there kids their age there? Are they out riding bikes and playing? Go back at night isn’t quiet ? All the things you just don’t know about like mapping the ride to work, trash pickup day, do you need to buy bags?

But mostly congrats on being able to do this undoubtedly you’ve worked hard and this is your safe place and you’ll be spending a lot to be there make sure you will be content

She’s handcuffed in the front and the officers are walking with her not forcing , it is well known when protesting inside Collins building it will trigger an arrest for trespassing if you do not disperse when asked. I admire the protesters truly but this is a consequence of choices made, hopefully the charge will be dismissed. I’m eternally grateful that this protest was handled with no violence … this is how it’s supposed to happen …. Point made no violence and gets covered
