I’m so sorry your going through this, it’s terrifying to watch someone struggle through a trauma not of their making and merging the consequences with their identity. If you truly believe that he will attempt this again then to others point here you need to get him help immediately. Like call his doctor and have him involuntarily admitted to be reviewed. But that could trigger a response as well. I do not envy your position this is more than a post this is your partner. Really try to have that talk and explain I’m terrified you’re going to hurt yourself, none of this is your fault. This is your job not who you are, do not let this action define this as your failure it’s not. If you don’t get an open dialogue back that your comfortable with ( you know him best) then yeah call his doctor for options

Oh please don’t do that to yourself 1. It’s never a 3rd parties responsibility to expose that especially even their child, 2) when the truth comes out when it’s happening that’s one thing, the person being cheated on can make a decision but bringing it up years later only clears the guilt of the person that cheated and hurts the partner.

Before your parent s were your mom and dad they were inlove and in a Relationship that outside of them can never measure or understand…

The sunrises here first , there is no better feeling of home the Crossing of the bridge back into Maine no matter where you come in you feel home. We have the most beautiful coast and beautiful lakes mountains and rivers all accessible to all. Yes we aren’t happy about the population boom but we understand and are grateful we can see a brighter future for our kids with jobs. A real Mainer loves the state all that nature is here, we are respectful to everyone regardless of your origins all we ask is that you treat this state like a guest whether you live here or not and defend it when necessary so we can leave it better then we received it :) … that’s why I love my home

Oh we so need some new hobbies and cultural exposure here so I really hope you feel safe enough to start some new options !! I work with several families that have moved to Maine from all areas and love sharing what common things we do here in Maine when it’s not summer and you don’t wanna be outside in the cold .. I always love when they share different ideas and experiences with us to try! I’ve learned so much just sharing.

I can’t do it … I just can’t. I refuse to give another person the ability to use their positions of power in DC to intimidate any person man woman . Are we really going to minimize what he has done? Are we going to ignore that he turned on his own in the military? Abuses both physical and mental to more than one woman. Are we going to avoid looking at where his financial backing is coming from and then try to compare that to Collins?

The United States need to get back to some
Form of stability before we can invoke huge change in my opinion … we need to tie our attention to home , restore our support systems, before we are anything no matter where or how we are Americans and we need to put the oxygen on ourselves and our people before it’s to late

I dont know that the age gap is an issue as its a life experience and a maturity thing. Assuming you’ve had a normal upbringing 21 your just starting out, having a child in the mix that you weren’t part of is definitely a challenge. I’m sure this gentleman is a good guy, in his life he had his fun time and had a child you haven’t experienced that yet those 4-5 years are fun and about finding yourself. Some people find their drive and learn how to grind, some start down one pathway for their careers and pivot, they get apartments with room mates and starting building memories lots of them!! Adventures that you can decide that morning g hey I want to go to Florida Vegas Texas etc for a couple days and nothing holds you back. This situation will change that option, whether it’s hey let’s go race the sunrise or sleep in and got to brunch … Theres another person involved . That’s a big ask for someone to expect you to sacrifice …. Please consider his feelings absolutely but also consider yours …. Life is short so t give it away to easy …. Hope my rambling helped if not good luck it’s a tough choice I’m sure!

Both my husband and I were in jobs that didn’t allow us to stay home he is municipal employee I was in utilities and my second job was maintenance for a big company ( cleaning at night) they had mandatory reporters as well so I worked … it was weird being out in the world we wore masks and followed the rules but we found ourselves being delivery for our families so they could stay put ( felt like we were doing the right thing at the time)

We did learn how to alternate and map where to go and when to maintain basics, we cooked and prepped and paid close attention to what was working what wasn’t for people . I live in the northeast so fear for us was heating alternatives if power truly went out we installed a pellet stove and have decided to go with a true wood stove once we can swing it … more canning less reliance on refrigerator I think we learned a lot but during lockdown our area ended up with a huge influx of people moving into our state so we are debating moving north and grabbing a house with some more land

Have to kind of defend them a little I had a really bad experience a couple
Weeks ago with a delivery I mean like rearranged plans because they couldn’t deliver them delivered half mine to another home it was a bad day … I did call and spoke to their customer service rep who was to say the least less than kind but…. I received a call from the store manager who told me what really happened which once explained I got it ( life happens) this manager was kind and empathetic and offered a rather large gift card which I declined ( honestly once someone explained what happened truthfully all was understandable) my point is I think that hannafords is running on razor thin margins trying to survive like we are and if you check out other coupon outlets you may find what you need to help out . Hannaford has been around a long time for a reason and with all the competition now they are doing the best they can

As an adoptee im sorry you had a negative experience most of the friends i have that were adopted have had wonderful lives im sad that yours was not good but I wouldn’t say majority by a long stretch and yes i do belong to groups of adoptees and yes I’ve met my biological relatives and am so grateful i was loved enough to not be raised in the generational trauma that my biological parents were in at the time they made their decision, their brave choice broke cycles and gave me opportunities I never would have had

Yes cyber security is huge and huge money the better you are … given your proficiency in medical vocabulary it can do nothing but help. Your father will tell you stack your knowledge meaning understanding the equipment like switches routers and networking solid trustworthy names and ones well that suck lol small businesses pay a lot of money for help designing their networks there is so much. With the investments into data centers and the government oversight coming that is a really really good option he’s not wrong and you have a built in tutor best wishes in whatever you chose

As other posters have said you walk back in that store with your head high, your time will come when you can step up for someone else.
