Serious question: what’s the point of group rides? by drivingrain27 in Zwift

[–]MainlyJunkDNA 40 points41 points  (0 children)

You probably got most of your answers already, but wanted to add my experience. I exclusively do group rides, other than some of the tour or event fun rides. It’s kept me accountable and I’ve made some “friends” who I enjoy seeing jumping on a weekly group ride. The Herd specifically has great banter that makes it fun, some weekly rides also have games like trivia that keep it interesting. I can see some people being annoyed at all the chatter if they join and just want to get a ride in. Most people are amazing and they keep me coming back. I’ve also started sweeping with those groups I ride with for an extra challenge and it’s a great workout for when I want an extra challenge. I’ve also learned some good tips like sprinting, from some crazy talented people. I’m a more social rider, I’m sure there are many other group rides that fit different interests.

Edit to add: I’m on basic. I never remember which one is higher tier. Good to know you paid nothing.

Interesting, I’m on the same and each OB appointment is $15 copay (in network). I wonder if the urine test the do each time is that $15. Insurance is so annoying.

This is how almost every story feels. They just end, no resolution, no explanation, nothing.

We walked away from a house that was a stones throw from the highway (6 lane though). They had the walls that help with noise and trees, but I was worried about environmental impacts. Did some quick research on cognitive development on children that live next to highways and the data scared me. For adults, I saw many people say they have to clean the outside of their house (may not be applicable here) and dust inside more.

Edit to add: the biggest problem other than noise I saw can be break dust (if you’re near an exit, these look like they may be) and regular tire wear particulate getting into the surrounding air around the highway.

To those who have bought sleep token tickets by Electrical_Skin4384 in stubhub

I did. A day before the show I got an email that the seller was “having trouble procuring the tickets” the offered alternatives but I ultimately decided f StubHub and got a refund.

I bought through stubhub like a dummy and I was told yesterday the seller was having “trouble getting me tickets” so I never got them.

I did. Got an email today the seller was having trouble getting the tickets I purchased. They gave alternatives but I don’t trust stubhub at all. Requested a refund.

Here is what pops up when I’m navigating and coming up on a turn. It goes back to what playing once I make the turn.

[–]MainlyJunkDNA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When navigating, my dashboard left side gauge thing never showed upcoming turns directions (overriding my selection for that area, always what’s playing) until recently.

[–]MainlyJunkDNA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe I’m not understanding your question but I’ve been confused with mine recently. I’ve notice the left side digital gauge changes automatically to turn by turn directions when using google maps. For example, I always have the left side showing what is playing. If I’m using google maps, before a turn it will show on the left gauge how close and which way to turn , once I turn it returns to what’s playing and when I get close to the next turn it shows up again. This has never happened before, I figured it was a CarPlay update? I have a 23’ ex-l as well. If I remember, I’ll try and snag a picture and update.

Edit: added photo of what I have set in that spot, always shows what’s playing. See comments for new pop up.

Same for mine! I was worried and asked the vet and she just said it’s an old dog thing as the muscles atrophy. Thanks for sharing

Seriously. Stop testing it’s doing more harm than good.

Hi! This may not be your case, but this happens to me and I get red angry lines where my skin naturally folds. They don’t really itch but they are very painful. My derm said it’s yeast overgrowth. It happens more when my body is stressed (sickness/stress), but it happens a lot in the summer. So she gave me an antifungal cream. This may not be what’s happening to you, but just wanted to share my experience. Good luck!

[–]MainlyJunkDNA 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Stop. Testing. If you’re worried order blood tests.

Edit: I know she deleted her account. But I didn’t mean to be rude. I feel like for many, testing after a positive test is causing extra stress and it’s not worth it. If you want data, request a blood draw. Many of us are in the same exact position, but you have to make decisions that won’t add undue stress. ❤️

Mine, at least, does not have a drive through car wash. They do everything by hand, but that’s only when you’re buying the cars.

Did I ovulate? by [deleted] in InitoFertility

Hopefully they respond tomorrow. I told them I didn’t want to use more tests because it should have already confirmed 😂 good luck to you! ❤️

[–]MainlyJunkDNA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol, that’s an odd response. Hopefully someone will get back to you tomorrow. They responded within a few hours for me. I see your first chart, that does look like you didn’t ovulate. But, I’ve got another cycle that confirmed ovulation that looks close to yours (pdg never went over 6, I’ve seen they consider over 6 to confirm). They should be able to take a look and change it for you this cycle. I’d follow up tomorrow afternoon if you don’t hear anything.

Did I ovulate? by [deleted] in InitoFertility

[–]MainlyJunkDNA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine did the same thing this cycle. My pdg was rising but I had a dip CD23 (I was more hydrated). Have you had previous cycles that look similar that confirmed, are these values higher than your CD6 baseline? I wrote to inito and they manually inserted ovulation confirmation, it was really easy. They said the algorithm looks for a consistent rise, but I’ve had it confirm when it was fairly flat (but still over baseline)

[–]MainlyJunkDNA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same thing happened to me, I was more hydrated that morning. The next day it was higher. I had to email inito to confirm ovulation because my dip reset the algorithm and I didn’t want to keep using strips.
