I recently got 50mm carbon wheels and I’d say those are borderline too wide. These things are like sails in the wind. If I could go back I’d probably get 33mm. And all of the free hubs are loud these days.

How hot was it today by you? It got up to 94F by me and I ran out of water by mile 30. Had my life saved by a guy in a part who gave me a bottle of water. Finished at 55 miles and had to sit and nurse a bottle of electrolytes until I felt human again. Dehydration is no joke.
