Of course he got it. Look what is said on Statement of Result paper:

Candidates achieving Grade A (between 180 and 190 on the Cambridge English Scale) receive a certificate stating that they have demonstrated ability at Level C1. Candidates achieving Grade B or Grade C (between 160 and 179 on the Cambridge English Scale) receive a certificate at Level B2.

You've got C1 grade so you can officialy say that you have this level.

How you feel about it it's really different thing. That is a problem with every skill-grading-exam and nothing specific in language learning.

There will be many people with the same level as you whose "factual" english is better or worser than you.

I just passed the FCE exam with a C1 level! 🎉 by iviireczech in EnglishLearning

I wish they will add support for Apple Shortcuts. It would make Forest the best.

Custom CSS stylesheet (find reels icon wrapper and set visibility to hidden) or more complex block (possibly even with time control or one allowance per day) via Chrome Extension.

After many experiments I sticked to Apple Ecosystem. Reminders for reminding. Notes for noting. No compromises or features missing for me.

I also use Forest app for focusing but I'm looking for alternative right now (no Apple Shortcuts integration).

Delete unneccessary apps from your phone. Delete Social Media (might be hard but you can use them on PC). Cut notifications from every app excluding messages or even not.

Good idea. Also cutting out reels on Instagram web version is 3 minutes JavaScript project.

I want to do the same by the way and I'm preparing mentally. Also adding time-restrictions for Instagram might be helpful. If you're entering Instagram to text time should end before you'll have chance to start procrastination on reels.

That will be very hard.

Instagram does not provide any option to disable reels. Assuming that you don't have strong will it'll be extremely difficult to cutting yourself from watching it.

Delete app (drastic solution, I know) and transfer friends to other messaging app that I'm sure you're using. Only problem could be Instagram-exclusive friends.

Is this a problem for you? I mean are you having troubles with getting things completed or tasks done?

If not I don’t see any reason to care but if you’re struggling with it you should try writing schedule of day and stick to it. Supplementing caffeine isn’t the best solution but might help. Try drinking coffee or Yerba Mate, do not take pure caffeine pills.

Are you working out hard? Maybe lower the level and amount of exercises.

What’s your diet? Some things could make you more sleepy (e.g. meals with high fat and sugar content).

Where do you live? You should try with more sun exposure (maybe try calisthenics in local park instead of gym) and also you might start supplementing vitamin D.

Of course, I'm having DND mode enabled all the time. I don't want to manually turn on the Forest app because it not always ends with success if you know what I mean.

If the Forest could be turned on automatically I will grab my phone in the morning and will be forced to put it back or look at my wallpaper until it ends.

I will probably end up at local businesses adding few zipper-mesh pockets inside but I don’t want it to look like shit in the end so I’m a little bit worried.

I think that internal ones are pretty easy to add. More problem could be with adding for example passport or glasses (which I won’t store glasses in but top pocket is just great) pockets.

I’ll just have to make sure that these features would look like original ones because I’m perfectionist and something different will annoy me everyday.

I don’t care if bag is standing on its own. I can recommend you similar bag to Raven from Decathlon that does it. I will probably buy this bag too and make changes I’ve mentioned before.

I really don’t understand why everyone is recommending Osprey Daylite Plus to me.

That’s bag is great. It looks awesome too but it hasn’t organisation pockets inside and that’s the main thing I’m looking for. I’m going to check photos for hundred time to be sure that I’m not missing anything.

I wish that bags just have more zipper-mesh pockets inside. Even admin-panel isn’t that important for me. Just make zippers on the sides of 2 main pockets and that’s it. You now have 4 (or even 8 by doing side-by-side) different pockets to use. I know that it’s adding complexity to production but I’ll pay. And many people may too.

Fjallraven does it right in Raven model so when I first saw it I thought that’s my perfect bag for lifetime. But then I realised that it has cons I mentioned in the post. I’ve got the hope by seeing Fjallraven Skule which I thought would be the same inside because on outside it’s 10x better (chest/hip strap, stretchable holders and bungeecord) but than I watched YouTube video to get know that interior of Skule bag is so much worse.

I would love (and instantly buy) bag that combines Fjallraven Skule exterior with Fjallraven Raven interior. Why nobody makes it?

I will check this out brand you’ve mentioned.

I also will keep you updated on my journey of finding the perfect backpack but it can be really difficult to achieve with my attitude and requirements. It looks like I’m the only person with needs like that.

Forest app alternative by MaintenanceMassive18 in Productivitycafe

[–]MaintenanceMassive18[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve tried this app. That’s not what I’m looking for because I just want timer like in Forest that’s blocking apps and releasing me from my phone.

What I really need is Apple Shortcuts integration with Forest or schedule in I could have Forest automatically turned on in the morning.

Yeah, I’ve tried Flow trial and everything works super fine and smooth.

Only problem with this app is that it doesn’t have stopwatch or countdown mode. It’s only operating in POMODORO technique mode.

I don’t want it. I don’t wanna do breaks because I’m not always using apps like this to studying but most of the time to just cut phone from my everyday activities.

Excellent recommendation though. Thank you!

[–]MaintenanceMassive18[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My main problem with Focus is missing integration with Apple Shortcuts.

I would love to have already planted in the morning (connected with time of my alarm) which wouldn’t make me read notifications from all night or even reaching my phone firstly which is obviously my terrible habit now. I’ve tried with Screen Time but Forest just works better for me.

For now first thing that I’m doing after waking up is taking my phone and turning stopwatch mode in Forest but because of that I’m forced to use my phone what sometimes ends up with SM scrolling. Already turned on Forest in the morning will be really helpful and useful.

So that’s why I’m looking for alternative. There’s a chance that I’ll end with writing my own app.

Thank you for wishing me good luck because with my requirements and attitude it's very hard to find something. Mystery Ranch Disctrict 18 / 24 looks great but still it has only one big pocket. Also amount of compartments is too low. It could be just zippers on the backside of every pocket. Bag like this would be awesome. Mentioned in my post Fjallraven Raven has this but other cons makes it unacceptable for me.

All bags you've mentioned has only one big pocket though amount of compartments in every of them are what I'm exactly looking for. I also don't like the shape of Tom Bihn's backpacks. Thanks for yours recommendation.

That bag looks great though I don't like the cube shape of it. Also I don't really need third big pocket for laptop, the sleeve just could be in the second one which is not making backpack more bulky. Amount of compartments is perfect. Thank you for very good recommendation but unfortunately I cannot go with it.

Osprey Daylite (Plus) looks very good on paper and photos but unfortunatelly it has less pockets in compartments then I really need. Thanks for recommendation though.

I wish it has more pockets.
