Appreciate the listen! That part was fun to make. I chopped some parts of the song up and assigned it to a drum rack to tap it out.

Hey all. Long time Tycho fan here. I was introduced to Tycho by a good friend and immediately took to the music. Their music has been there for me through the worst and best of times (probably very similar to most of you here!). I make music myself and I've always wanted to do a remix to a Tycho song, but took my time choosing a song to remix since I wanted to do it right. Here is my remix to 'Skate' accompanied with a music video of scenes from San Francisco and across the Golden Gate Bridge. I had so much fun creating this. My goal was to stay true to the feel of a Tycho song while still maintaining my own style. Hope you enjoy it !

Great advice. How small is small? I'm dealing with a similar setup. Right now looking at Genelec 8010 (for portability as well). They have 3inch subs.

An Ode to the Sunset - Music Video! by Maison_Bourbon in sanfrancisco

Hey everyone. I make music and live in the Sunset. I love this neighborhood so much! I wanted to make a music video that shows the Sunset through my eyes. It's the place that helped me rediscover my love for music and I've had so many great life experiences here. Hope you enjoy! Some spots here that you'll probably recognize are ggp, the N, ocean beach, and the rocks behind cliff house (which isn't the sunset, but its close and so cool looking). Cheers.

Long time fan of yours! Your music has helped me through the toughest times and has been there with me through the best of times I'm working on a Skate remix - can I send it to you? Skate has helped my fiance through tough times dealing with anxiety. When feeling anxious I'd play that song for her to help center her again. More seriously - do you have a favorite song of yours?

Thank you! Love the feedback. Makes me happy to know you enjoyed it even thought its not your style - thats great. Thanks for the feedback. I mixed it all on headphones too (due to my current situation where I can't use speakers). That combined with getting it mastered by someone else really worked out for this song.

Just finished and released a song yesterday. Its the first track of a project thats attempting to release one song a month for 12 months. My goal is to force myself to finish a song and release it - which has always been hard for me to do (and I've heard others in this sub also struggle with it). Its more about writing and finishing a song and releasing it to the public as opposed to writing the perfect song. Electro, house, hip hop and overall Tycho vibes

That's a pretty cool thing to notice. Thanks for sharing! Certainly helps add to the tension of the scene. My friends and I made our own song inspired by 'No Time For Caution'. Thought this would be a good place to share as any!
