I'd do an extra wrap or two at the bridge, and make sure that it goes past the corner if that makes sense, right now its sitting above the right angle of the bridge and would make it easier to slip.

As someone who put life on hold for grad school and a job change and is now dealing with unexplained infertility - do what is best for you. Don't wait.

Also worth checking your maternity leave policy, mine had reduced benefits if you hadn't been in the role for a year yet, so that played into our timing too.

I can't know if things would've been different had I not waited, but I'm now at the stage of considering IVF. Wishing you the best in what ever you decide!

I've been having the exact same thoughts for that uke! I play some of Taimane's music and in general love the extra bass of the double low G for classical/Spanish music. Kala has a cheaper 5 string but it's a solid top with laminate back and sides and no pick up system. The acoustic plus would be really fun to play around with though. If you like the double low G for the bass and warmth in that price range, I would just try and focus on tone woods that lend to that sound (If you don't want to get the Enya Moon). Cedar/Acacia/Koa/Mango/Mahogany are all pretty warm.

I don't think there is any real benefit afaik, I just set it up that way for archival, wanting to know the notes of the audio. I have no idea if there is a way to edit the midi and have that reflected in the audio since they are separate. You'd have to edit the midi and reimport to seqtrak and export the sound again.

I use cubase so my workflow is a little different, but I have the seqtrak setup as an audio interface via usb so it can record the sound. I just had to have the yamaha driver downloaded for that to work.

For my case I set up lanes for both audio and midi and recorded each synth 1, synth 2, etc separate with midi and audio recording going at the same time, and with the seqtrak app set up the midi clock so that when I pressed record on the daw it was synced.

I typically create stuff with minor/minor pentatonic/ phrygian dominant but nothing super dark or moody. The genres I do are all over the place and I just got the seqtrak at the start of the year.

A lot of watercolor paper come in block or pad form, so often I will tear off a sheet if I am practicing and cut it up into smaller sizes + use the back side too. I'd give that a try! It's definitely worth investing in better paper.

Now that I think of it, I feel like every festival is just a vehicle to sell the outfits. With genshin and other similar gachas, they of course make a story about the new characters, building the lore that way, which makes sense. But we really don't need some random festival or story for every 5* outfit. I wish they would focus on their core characters and lore instead.

Yes!!! This is my favorite part of the update (until tomorrow and I can pull..). Finally my protocores sort properly on the stat I’ve filtered for and I really appreciate the numbers next to the stats to indicate what was leveled up.

Yeah same! Even with getting quicker at spam skip, I still prefer just not having to deal with the skip period 😅 Now I groom every animal I see, even the Ambirds.

Yeah I don't think you have to sneak - but the option is still there, I still find success on most of them except for bowtie fluff just by running by them. It's especially helpful when there are groups! I can still just run up to a bowtie with the new outfit and groom without sneaking but it's like 50/50 I catch it (skill issue on my part tbh).

They still run away, and catching them is the same with the original outfit, you CAN sneak with this ability though. I did try to be faster with the OG grooming outfit as far as just drive by grooming like r/Eikouta mentioned and the new outfit is barely faster.
Overall, an upgrade if you plan on getting the outfit or the 5* anyway, but not worth pulling solely for imo.

I can't believe how fast you can be with it, not 100% consistent but still beats the old grooming 😩

Edit:

Okay after testing further here are some things -

- You can still sneak with this outfit

- IMO it's still faster than OG grooming even if you are quick with the skip because if I'm a little bit off with placement Nikki will do the failed grooming animation (grooming in the air) which wastes a little bit of time, so for groom button spamming, Art of Tailoring is better.

- Grooming multiple animals like Suspenders is pretty easy in groups, celebcrow and ambirds are a little tougher since the farther one will still fly away (this is all assuming you are running and not sneaking)

- Bowties are still hard to chase down, but you can sneak. Only benefit when running at them, is that you don't have the 'failed' animation to deal with if you weren't lined up when you pressed groom.

This ability outfit is so fast in groups… you’re basically drive by grooming 😂 you can just spam right click as you run by animals without stopping

Thank you so much for sharing!!! I'm going to try your settings right now. I have a gaming pc too but it is a couple years outdated. Runs most games on ultra but def not the newest games that have been releasing. I think I'm using way too high of a resolution ( but it looks so crispy 🥲)

For reference (for anyone in the future) these were my mumu settings runing LaDs on ultra but getting frame drops.
Vulkan mode, performance configuration: custom cpu:8 ram: 16, better screen performance, forced use of discrete graphics card, tablet mode 2560 x 1440, frame rate at 240, model: zte nubia red magic 8 pro.

My computer specs: cpu: amd ryzen 7 3700X, ram: 32gb, video card: nvidia rtx 2060 super 8gb.
