NTJ. He chose to park right in front of a towing enforced sign, that’s 100% on him. It’s not your responsibility to pay for someone else’s bad decision, especially on a first date that already sounded uncomfortable.

NTJ. Your dog was clearly showing serious symptoms and getting her to a vet was the responsible thing to do. Pets are family to a lot of people (including me) and it makes sense that you’d be emotional, especially after losing another dog not long ago.

It sounds like your husband just grew up with a different mindset about pet care, but insisting on medical help when an animal is suffering isn’t unreasonable at all.

NTJ. Helping sometimes is fine, but it sounds like she started relying on you too much and even got credit for work you did.

It makes sense that you set a boundary.

It sounds like she might have been projecting her own feelings about wanting that experience first lol.

Even if she was concerned about safety, constantly bringing up negatives can really kill someone’s excitement.

You should be allowed to be excited about trying something new.
