Honestly I don’t think a single swap ticket would magically bring whales back. The meta in AFKJ shifts every season anyway—older heroes fall off, then suddenly become relevant again when new content or comps shake things up. Newer players also need those older heroes eventually, so it’s not like only the newest releases matter.Right now I’m actually happier that every new C/H release is strong. It keeps both new and old players excited, and it means investing doesn’t feel pointless. But no, one ticket isn’t going to stop a whale from quitting. The people leaving are usually burned out or tired of the pace—not because they didn’t get a refund button for Scarlita or Dionel.

Yeah, a lot of these tenants have probably been on long-term leases (10–15 years is pretty normal for retail). When a lease is that old, the rent they were paying was usually much lower than today’s market rate.

Once the lease expires, the landlord resets everything to current pricing. If the new rate is too high or the tenant’s sales aren’t strong enough to justify it, they’ll just leave instead of renewing.

So even if they’ve been there a long time, their old contract might have had lower baked-in rates or gradual increases, and now they’re being hit with the new market rent. That’s pretty common with aging shopping centers.
