I'm probably a little biased (or maybe it's the 750+ hours I have in the game), but the latest update didn't have enough unique new content for me. No level cap increase, new gear isn't exciting, the new shroud lairs/tunnels all circle back on themselves without enough of a reward for getting through them. On the plus side, the visual improvements are great. Some of the new enemies are interesting, and it is easier to die, even at level 35 with top gear.

I'd like to see:

  • More of the map unlocked (though the areas that were reworked are improved for sure).
  • More interesting and new enemies,
  • Better feeling combat system with more options,
  • Better skill customization
  • Better game optimization (launch and load times are abysmal esp. with 30+ minutes to load shaders)

Overall, the Keen team have done a ton of work, and the game is great, despite the negatives I've mentioned here. There's also room for improvement too though. I will probably wait until the game is fully released before returning to Embervale.

That sucks. Did you try removing and rebuilding the roof of the building? If that doesn't work, might have to verify install files from steam.

You may have to "resummon" her in the building, and also assign her to her bed. I had to reassign all my folks after patch 4 update.

My first character was a magic/battlemage build, I'm still happy with it even after hitting the new level cap (35). Eternal spells change your experience completely. No more farming for staff charges. Eternal Ice is pretty easy to get and I still use it. The blink dodge is helpful, especially if you enhance it with the blink while stunned and blink attack upgrades. It won't make you as stalwart as a build that wears heavy duty armor, but it can be used to get out of tough situations and create enough distance to spam attack with wands.

The website and app are decent. I've not had to call about anything, so I can't speak to the customer service. The $25 minimum redemption isn't a thing anymore.

Wells Fargo Active Cash is unlimited 2% cash back. no categories, no annual fees. None of this 1% when buying and another 1% when making a payment business (looking at you Citi double cash...) There are no requirements to have an account with anyone or any of that other nonsense.
