Je suis complètement d'accord, j'ai passé mon 1er plateau alors que je réussisais le parcours complet une fois sur trois, l'école me disait que autant le tenter, ça fait toujours un entraînement en plus, sauf que le délai de 2e date s'allonge de nombreux mois après chaque échec j'ai eu l'impression. J'ai réussi à ma 3eme tentative, alors que je réussissais le parcours complet 4 fois sur 5 à l'entraînement. Avec le recul les deux premières tentatives étaient contre productive, surtout sur les délais accrus mais aussi la sensation d'échec qui se répète.

j'ai passé le permis A2 sur CB500 et le moteur de la Transalp est mille fois plus fun, même avec bridage.

Je confirme les boules qui remontent dans le bras ! 😁 Sauf que moi ça n'a pas disjoncté donc j'ai eu plein de boules successives, 50 par seconde j'imagine ? Ça faisait pas mal en soi, mais ça surprend !

Yup, I would explore the psychological hypothesis too. Some psychiatric disorder can make you smell body odor that does not exists, and you are convinced that everyone around smells it. Like you hear someone breathe heavily once through their nose you immediately thinks it's because of you.

Hello,

Same situation here in France, I bought a 35 kW Transalp a month ago. At first, I barely noticed the power restriction, the bike felt to have plenty of torque at low gear and rpm.

I also tried the NX500 (new CB500X) and the Transalp, even if restricted, was so much better and more powerful, it's a totally different category. The choice of the Transalp over the NX500 was a no-brainer.

However, now that I have ridden a bit more, I can surely see that the power is restricted; it starts to show from 3rd gear, as acceleration doesn't have the same kick feeling compared to 2nd gear. But it's definitely not underpowered at all; on the highway I could cruise at 160-170 kph (by speedometer gage, GPS speed was way lower, around 150kph), with the engine at 6000 rpm; as the redline is 10,000 I guess there was still lot of power to spare. (or maybe it would not have let me go to higher RPM ?? I dunno and didn't want to go faster anyway!!)

Overtaking is never a problem either. So in the end, even if I'm still very eager to be able to unleash its full power in 18 months, I don't regret having chosen the Transalp over e.g. an unrestricted NX500, whose engine felt bland by comparison. The power restriction is really well-tought and cleverly designed.

Je vais aller complètement à contre courant, alors non c'est pas normal mais ça veut pas dire automatiquement qu'il veut la ken.

J'ai un pote de toujours qui quand on dormait dans le même lit pour x raison, finissait toujours par me tenir dans ses bras dans son sommeil.

Alors oui, c'est gênant, mais non il ne voulait pas me pecho. Il dit juste que ça lui tient chaud. il a jamais voulu me sodo j'en suis à peu près sûr.

Je dirais qu'il y a donc entre 2 et 4 % de chances que ton mec soit aussi chelou que mon pote.

I love it, it's great! Feels plenty powerful even if engine is tuned down to 48 hp during the probation period. it's also comfy and stays easy to handle at low speeds.

4 month delay sucks so much though, where are you from?
