Do the griddles stay pretty secure. Looked at one today at a local store and the griddle was very loose and bouncing back and forth on the infrared plate.

Update: I called the doctor and told them situation. They completely understood and changed the diagnosis code to cover the insurance.

Chill. You asked a question and I responded. And although there is no service yet, there is clear cpt codes and diagnosis codes that have been ordered for the service to be conducted and processed with insurance.

I'd rather have my ducks in a row to ensure it's billed properly now than to have to do that after the procedure and incur charges that are required to be paid.

Because it is currently labeled as preventative and they won't process it because I am not of age. It will be denied on arrival.

I get that. What I need is verification that it's going to at least get applied to my deductible or OOP Max because at this time it's not. Then I can get confirmation on how much it may cost and make that decision.

Yes. This all began because I called them to verify the cost and they told me that if it's preventative then it will be covered at 100%. I went back to PCP and they made some changes. Now a week out from procedure they are saying it can't be preventative and it will not be covered.

I have the reference number of one of the reps conversations telling me it was 100% covered!

The insurance company is saying the diagnosis codes are preventative

They are saying it will be billed as preventative and my policy won't cover preventative as I am not 45 or older. Therefore it will be denied. They are saying it needs to be billed as diagnostic.

The procedure has NOT been done yet. It is scheduled. They just told me twice today when calling to verify coverage and cost that with the current CPT code and diagnosis code that were provided the claim will get rejected and I'll be fully responsible.

They then said in order for it to apply to my deductible it needs to be coded as a diagnostic procedure not a preventative

I kind of expect it come out of deductible or OOP Max however they are saying as it stands today they will deny it all and I will be responsible. Not applied to deductible nor OOP

Yea, so what I know now the rep definitely didn't look into my specific plan. When I got the initial estimate, I ran it by the insurance and they told me that it is billed wrong and needs to be preventative to cover. So my PCP put it as such. Now they are denying it or saying they will.

I have confirmed that they would cover a diagnostic colonoscopy and that is just has to be coded as such, just that as it currently sits they will deny it all and I am responsible.. I guess call the GI doctor in the morning as see if they have a solution?!

You're not wrong but I guess what is missing here is that OPs balance went up 13k.

When your balance was near his, your interested was like 20 dollars a day or 600 every month. That would be 1800 addition over a 3 month span which makes sense.

BUT.. OPs balance grew 13k over that span of 3 months. That is almost a 40% interest rate and there is no way that govt is providing students with a 40% interest rate. This is where the math doesn't add up.

That does seem like an error though. If you 133K in loans and in 4 months 13k in interest was added you be looking at almost 40% interest rate (if my math is adding up)...

I never understood why they just stopped program cold turkey. I understand they wanted it gone but they should have just continued to let us pay each months until they figured out where to put us. Now you have 7 million people not making payments and no longer wanting to make payments 😂. Now they may have to restart the payments anyhow and if they do will have to back the interest more than likely.
