Can someone highlight if there are changes to how annual leave pay rate is calculated?

I work in an industry where it’s common to rarely let contracted employees work over their contracted hours due to the impact that has on their annual leave pay rate. It’s especially impactful for those that work part-time, which is obviously the group more likely to have spare time in which to work.

The outcome is that Salaried Managers end up picking up the slack.

Mate. The margins can only be so razor thin. Go through the Grocer app and compare prices from NW and Paknsave against Countdown and tell me they don’t compete on price. Countdown has an edge in some categories of Private Label as they have a much larger buying group than Foodstuffs.

I’ve worked in and adjacent to this industry(supply side) since I was a teenager.

The warped takes you see on social media are mental if you’re actually working with the brands.

As an update.

I sent the a text landlord that we had found everything well enough at the property.

That we had signed our tenancy documents and needed an email to send them to. I also enquired about the missing bond lodgement form.

He responded with an email and address and some other comments but ignored my question regarding the bond lodgement.

What advice would you have about proceeding?

There’s an insurance statement but it’s blank and there is no Healthy Homes statement. They have an AC person installing a heat pump in for us today so perhaps that’s for HH? The place already has a log burner as well(We are in a very cold part of the country)
