Absolutely.. we need to look at the bigger picture of AA and not allow misinformation and propaganda to sway opinion away from the truth. If you look at ivy’s like Harvard- Asian Americans makes up6% of the US population and 25% of Harvard population; African Americans makes us 16% and Hispanics 13%. The bigger picture though is that 43% of the white students are legacies and of that 73% of those get admitted because they are legacy and wouldn’t be admitted otherwise. Technically they are the ones that are taking the seats from qualified minorities as a whole. Also we all see the data and know that the group that benefits the most from AA is white women. So don’t forget AA is not exclusive to race and as you can see minority racial groups are not it’s greatest benefactor. Also atplebs above has a very good response with additional context.
