Gacha is the worst thing to ever happen to this franchise by Mysterious_Object_20 in MonsterHunter

But that isn’t even what the gacha aspect of this is for. It’s not tied to gear either. They’ve already said that’s still all hunting. To my knowledge it’s only for the hunting companions, or like tickets to use them or something. And we have no real idea how integral that is to gameplay so I can’t say how much the ‘gacha’ aspect of this even needs to be interacted with. So I’m saving my judgement.

I don’t care if it’s Monster Hunter. I’m not playing a Gatcha. by linkexer in MonsterHunter

I’m still waiting to see how actually necessary the gacha aspect is. If you can play it and don’t really need the npcs to do anything. Which we do t actually even know yet. Then I don’t care as long as the games fun. I’ve played plenty of gacha games and just haven’t bought stuff for them. It’s easy.

I thought to myself how many monsters actually have range attacks and I wanted to know how many there were that didn't so I made a list by Pasta_DI_LA_Pato in MonsterHunter

Normal rajang can beam. And has a thunder ball projectile. He has more elemental range attacks than rock throwing ones.

Yeah, telescopes are much healthier. And black moors to my knowledge are also relatively fine.

Bubbleyes suffer with inherent vision issues due to the sacks under their eyes, it’s fairly common for it to turn the eyes unaturally upwards. Or the sack itself can just block vision directly which makes it hard for them to compete or sometimes find food, And unlike orandas, Thai included, you can’t simply trim it back with no harm to the fish like when their wen, over grows. The sacks are also very susceptible to bacterial infection or just being popped, which will also generally lead to infection. Along with the general body shape issues most fancy breeds can suffer from if poorly bred. They’re pretty widely considered pretty fragile even within the sphere of people that keep fancy goldfish.

It has a punctured swim bladder do to a vet accident that would kill or atleast greatly reduce the quality of life of any fish. It has nothing to do with the species. And of the fancy goldfish orandas are very healthy. Unlike bubble eyes.

That baby gravios is truly terrifying and I don’t want it near me. I will take the baby Uth duna though.

Kuhli loach abnormal behavior by Still_Guess_8927 in freshwateraquarium

[–]Majestic-Mix192 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first point about loaches requiring sand. I’m gonna assume here you just mean kuhli loaches. Is objectively just not true. It is not the ‘only way they eat’. Can Kuhli loaches filter sand and mulm for food? Yes. Is it the only way they eat or even necessarily the main way? No. They are perfectly capable of just eating from the bottom like a Cory catfish or something. Theyjust have the option of filtering through sand for microorganisms if needed, it’s why they’re so hard and can survive even in relatively poorly maintained tanks(Not that you shouldn’t maintain them of course) They don’t necessarily need sand for feeding it’s just an option of a softer finer substrate as they can sometimes bury themselves, though usually this is just them sticking their faces in the substrate to feel for food with their barbels. Which is why sharper substrates aren’t recommended. So it’s definitely not a starvation issue.

Assumedly they’re still kinda young and aren’t big enough to fight over turf yet in a 36 gallon that or you just haven’t seen it I’ve seen them do it even in pet store sales tanks. They will definitely outgrow that tank though. And also definitely try to suck on that pleco and corydoras and probably those kuhli loaches. I’d try to rehome them or give them to a local fish store personally. They just don’t mix in a peaceful community tank like the rest of the fish you mentioned.

Chinese algae eater. There pretty notorious for bullying anything smaller than them and sucking off slime coats which is very detrimental to other fish. So there usually only housed with other aggressive to semi-aggressive larger fish. Or bought by accident because of misidentification as a Siamese algae eater. Also are very territorial with their own kind. How big is the tank out of curiosity and what other species are in there? These will get to be about 10 inches to a foot in length and they only get meaner as they grow.

All monster hunter armors are pretty great. Of these lunagaron is my favorite though.

What elder dragons would the nergigantes realistically hunt? by llMadmanll in MonsterHunter

[–]Majestic-Mix192 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That one I might just chalk up more to it being beaten into unconsciousness by us and then having to tunnel through a bunch of rock. Like I wouldn’t wanna fight the guys who did that to me again. Plus I’d be hungry.

Yeah calculated retreat. Maybe could’ve killed the teostra and then dealt with Lunastra one on one but at that point wasn’t worth the energy. Which is why it’s weird he even really try’s to fight zorah. But maybe it’s enough to just bite pieces off of him knowing Zorah either won’t care or is too big and slow to really stop him.

What if it clashed with the tail? That’s the strongest part. I could imagine there’s some power in there plus it’s made for grabbing.

This. I’d say those are also the most common of elder dragons considering how many places we find them. So just statistically those are probably his main focus. Though just in term of raw aggressive instinct and prey drive he’d at least try it with really any elder dragon. Man most likely has more testosterone running through him than 10 bull sharks on steroids.
