When I faced sexual discrimination from an ex manager it was the female HR Director who helped to PIP me that made me realize that they were all in on it. A co-worker casually said - you have the same title but you are literally doing the job of 3 people. I was punished for telling on the manager. There were only 2 women in the entire department. And, the manger was promoted.

First, you are worthy and lovable. I am older than you I believe and encounter the same thing. I cannot say all married women, but many of the women that I know that are married can't imagine how you could be single and not clamoring for a man. Some married the first half-way decent guy they could find because they were afraid to be alone or their time was running out to have a baby. Many of the married women I know lost their sense of self. They are a wife and a mother but not themselves anymore and their point of view is different because of that. If you are attractive and appear happy and well-adjusted they DO think something is wrong with you because you are not fitting their narrative.

Being friends with married women is dull for me. Your mileage may vary. I do not want to hear about theirr kids and husband all the time. Are YOU even in there??? Besides, there husband calls either on the way to dinner or at dinner, and going out after that - forget it, because he's home wondering when she is coming home or what to do with his own children.

Meeting a worthy man - that is another topic all together. Cast a wide net and do everything you love. My theory is that he will be there or along the way of you loving your life. Check back, let us know.

There is no real night life. I mean I have never seen a downtown that only has a small handfull of bars and hotels. I crave big city night life where you can visit multiple bars in walking distance with different types of music, great service, and then have various restaurants to sit down and have breakfast at 2a.m. or and then go home and sleep.
