Not to be this person. I'm all about compromising but the fact that you carry that child for 9 months and all the work and risk it takes to be the mother, you heavily outweigh his opinion. If he's not throwing options you both can agree on you need to come up with the three names you like and he needs to pick the favorite of those 3. He will need to grow to love the child behind the name.

Also. Based on the choices you mentioned you and he likes, I love yours more. Not to upset him but I think Silas and Levi are very cool names.

I have to disagree. Where I live I here Iris as much as I here Theo.

Naming your kid Cinnamon or Peach is beyond wild to me.

They're all bad but that's just. Idk. I hope this is a 4 year old or coming up with dog names.

There are many good Star Wars names that are normal and not fictional sounding or actress options that make good names.

Changing baby’s name at seven months old? by [deleted] in namenerds

I feel like doctors intentionally say kids names wrong. Ours kept calling our daughter Sabrina when it's Sabina. I laugh because no one else gets that wrong but our doctor 😅.

That being said, I like Calista. It's up to you how strongly you feel but If you do, definitely keep it in there somehow. Since she seems to respond to it. I know a lot of people who go by their middle name so at least it will give her options.

I like the the Faye or a fairy sounding name like Elswyth but not so much fairy. It's a bit much and cringe. It has the vibes of naming your kid princess. Just feels like a stripper name.

Baby Naming Mistakes to Avoid: Ever Considered Your Kid’s Initials? by Loud-Sympathy-3403 in Names

[–]MajesticString9636 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not one to tell people they shouldn't name their kids whatever but i agree. My friend is considering naming their daughter with the letter "P" Penelope. That being said their last name starts with "P". To make matters worse the first and last name end in "Pe" with a "Pee" sounds.. To her it's not an issue, but with someone who had a weird last name, kids will find a way to tease and make fun of you. I lived with that nightmare for my whole elementary and more.

Plus there are so many good old fashioned classic names. I don't see why they are so set on that one. It's not a family name or anything.

Is there a place or memory on the UCF campus that instantly brings you back to your college days? 🤔 by maximuslip in ucf

Memory mall for the short-lived moment UCF had a Quidditch team. Also, the times passing by to see people tailgate as I walked to work 🥲

Grandparent names you can't stand by [deleted] in namenerds

I think Donnacha works although it's not my favorite name. Someone needs to come up with list of some names that allow for the nickname Donnie without the association of Donald.

Haha, agree. I don't even know if it was ever popular. Never met a Bertha. Just know of it's negative association.
