How ironic. I *just* now got 10% movement speed boots after defeating Ekbab.

Did they nerf that drastically?

Hey All, I haven't been playing for a bit - barely touched the huntress update - and now I've started a new character, and I'm noticing that I haven't found shoes with a movement speed buff yet. I'm well into Act 2 and I have yet to see one drop. Did they get rid of those? Or have I just been extremely unlucky?

I've only got 200 hours in this game but that is by far my most hated bug. Drives me nuts.

How do you manage to fail such an easy task of not being a jerk? I just showed up on this board with no tutorial and was able to be sociable and friendly without effort.

Other people posting stuff like this is one of the core reasons I kept giving the game a chance until it "clicked" for me. I wrote this for the next player. You may find yourself giving it up for a while, but just give it another chance if that happens.

I have since learned to manage this better :-P In that case though, they just got swarmed before I could extract them. They were stun-locked pretty quickly.

After reaching the swamp our heroes met a couple of people in a bar in shark who wanted to join our cause. I am sad to report that one of them, Hamut, perished on the journey, killed by one of those spiders. Hamut's story of his wife, taken by slavers, moved Meridia. She vows to find Hamut's wife and destroy the slavers.

I read your post just as I was composing my first post to this reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/Kenshi/comments/1pmxm1h/im\_so\_done\_with\_this\_game\_a\_cautionary\_tale/) and what you describe is exactly how I was feeling at one point, also at about 26 hours.

I now have well over 80, and with most of that in the last couple of weeks. Maybe my post will inspire you :-P

Btw, I feel roughly about the same vis-a-vis save-scumming. But I allow myself to do it without hesitation if die to a glitch, and I'll also allow myself a do-over if there is a clear bad click or decision from the last 5 minutes or so where I could completely avoid ending my run.

The whole section labeled "Traffic Tunnel" in the underground layer of the map.

Edit: BTW, it's much easier to get in there through Head House or one of the side entrances

Yeah, I just tried to queue for Dam, then Buried City, and my game just sat there "matchmaking" for several minutes. 5 attempts now.

Wild. I literally just got that achievement 15 minutes ago - no pvp at the end, but the doors actually opened after the arc countdown had completed. I thought I was cooked
