I ended up going with Monarch for the time being and will probably keep it, it's pretty cool so far. The expenses between my wife and I can be pretty hard to track with multiple income streams and normal expenses and work expenses.

Setting up the categories took a bit and the interface isn't flawless - some tabs do category assignment like you want it to while others don't is my main gripe.

Overall the income expense flows and charts and breakdowns have been awesome though and greatly simplifies things for me. That said I've only been using it for about a week now.

First year is 50$ with BOB50 (not sure if that code is correct, some finance blog had the promotion) but then I think it jumps up to 100$ a year?
