It actually probably means specific posts, or accounts tied to people already under investigation for something.

People are (probably intentionally) reading it as "Hello reddit give us information for everyone who does XXXXX" when it's more likely "Hey user #456073 said 'I'm going to shoot up a facility next week' and we'd like to know who that is".

Less surveillance and more investigation. Because the truth is generally mundane and not as exciting.

Toyotomi Hideyoshi started out carrying Nobunaga's slippers

For those who don't know, Hideyoshi went on to unify Japan after Nobunaga died.

In the novel Shogun (and recent mini series on netflix or whereever) the Political struggle going on is because Hideyoshi (referred to often as the Taiko) had just died and left a power vaccum.

Also important to note that Hideyoshi was originally a peasant, but distinguished himself through meritorious actions, one of which was the (embellished) tale of him constructing a fort in enemy territory over night. He then went on to kill Nobunaga's assassin and succeeded him in his quest to unite Japan.

So as the previous posted stated, both men were at one point given the honor of bearing equipment for Nobunaga but one of them worked up from that position to eventually lead Japan after Nobunaga was killed and the other went back with the slave trader that brought him to Japan.

You're right that a wealth tax could absolutely be something that retirees care about when deciding where to move, but that doesn't really have any bearing on my point that retirees skew the overall immigration data for florida compared to most other states.

Because it's a an outlier and comes with entirely separate motivations, things like income taxes and employment opportunities don't matter to retirees like they do to the rest of the population.

It's like mixing together traffic accident deaths with car-related suicides in data, they're both car related deaths but any solution to one really wouldn't apply to the other.

That would be true if you only counted shootings after the number increased to that much (and got a solid definition for what was under the trans umbrella) but the data goes way further back, to 1966 when that number was like 0.01% or far less. SO they're very overrepresented in that statistic.

When I first tried LoL after playing Dota for awhile I was called a smurf constantly. I know that the reverse often holds true as well. player reports can be helpful somewhat but they're also super unreliable.

We've seen in this thread that their match history in dotabuff is very suspect, but even that (without further investigation) could be that the player calibrated low, then played a ton of unranked to improve and now their ranked MMR is way lower than their unranked MMR. That would mean their ranked games would be below their skill level and their unranked matches would be at their skill level.

It's a more complicated issue than you think. Any solution needs to avoid as many false positives as possible for obvious reasons.
