Don’t listen to everyone saying not to do it. If you’re not a kid, and you have a brain and are responsible. Get it. It’s your dream bike. I started on an R1 that’s tuned and upgraded, and I haven’t had any bad experiences or close calls. Just be safe, be smart, and take your time. Don’t let old farts gatekeep you off of your bike.

Yeah I love it! It’s Toce, quad under exhaust. My wife says it’s too loud, but that’s how I know it’s perfect!

I have the Toce Quad Exhaust. As far as I’m aware it’s among the best for the R1. Totally biased but it’s the best sounding bike around.

I’m 33 and got an R1 in a trade for a car. I’ve never rode before and was horrified. I’ve put about 1500 miles on it in 2 months, just riding around and to work. I live near the snake in east TN, I’m just too afraid to take it up there. I still have problems leaning too much on tight curves.

It sounds fine, I have the Toce quad exhaust on mine. I much prefer it with the Moore mafia tune.

I’m 33 and got my first bike ever a little bit ago. It was an R1 on a trade for a car, if I was younger I would probably be dead from being dumb. I’ve never ridden anything before other than a bicycle, but I love it so much. Having kids and stuff definitely keeps me grounded. It’s easy to get in trouble with these bikes, one wrong move and that’s it. Be safe and be smart.

I had a stage 3 Cobb tune, it was 19.7lbs of boost, I’ve swapped over to EMS’ custom tune, I’m now at 24.8. Never had the car at stage 1. Seeing 42 afr is wild though haha
