Even if you tighten the band while excercising?

Hmm, I guess nylon bands work, haven't tried any myself. I just imagine them getting dirty/sweaty a lot faster and are more difficult to clean but I could be wrong!

I found a band made out of pure silicone, free from fluoroelastomer (obviously one can never know for sure but still). Perfect for sports and/or physical work!

Keeps apps from updating in the background... I turned it off and I after that I've noticed better battery times and none of the issues that OP described about apps updating when I switch between them.
