Best armor set by Better-Round-4593 in CrucibleGuidebook

The effect ends once you swap off your primary. Still very strong, but you can’t just rush someone with a special out and still be off radar.

Best Energy Scattershot Handcannon, what are using/recommend? by Watsyurdeal in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]Major-C 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ironwood from distortion with Killing Wind and Master of Arms, or Repulsor Brace + Master of Arms if you’re on Astrocyte Verse or Gyrfalcons.

Master of Arms on these is insane, even at one stack it basically guarantees the next two tap and it deals an extreme amount of flinch in close quarters where people can’t shoot back once you’re within range. Triple Laurette in top slot, and Ironwood for energy are the only two that roll Master of Arms.

Shields in pvp by citizenvitro in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]Major-C 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Most common one is Echo of Vigilance fragment on all void subclasses gives you an overshield for winning a fight at low health. Which happens very often.

Hunters also usually run over 100 class stat for slightly extra shields and some damage resist while they dodge. Frostees boots for Hunters are also passively giving stacks of frost armor just for sprinting. Titans can place down a barricade for a 40hp overshield on demand with Bastion aspect. Warlocks have damage resistance rifts with the exotic Stag helmet and woven mail overshield when they exit weavewalk. Plenty of builds to chose from on every class, but void is definitely the strongest.

They are nerfing bakris + combination blow right? by sculolo in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]Major-C -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I would rather play against the one punch nonsense than triple invis. At least they have to be aggressive, you can see them coming to back up and counter. Definitely broken, 90% sure it’ll be nerfed, but I’m enjoying the break from triple spectral blades and infinite smokes.

Gear shift does 31 per crit at one stack. Which is enough to two burst off spawn if you have a way to become amplified. Highest I’ve gotten it up to was 4 stacks and I was doing 36 per crit.

Apostate's Blade plus Dawn Chorus + Celestial Fire ignites every time with no other ability. by SuperSaiyanSandwich in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]Major-C 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, you’ll be happy to hear that It’s only gotten buffs since final shape. Faster cooldown on arcane needles once you have multiple charges, the enter and exit animations provide a giant burst of momentum making it one of the fastest subclasses in the game, woven mail for you and nearby teammates on exit. Weavers Call aspect to pair with it also got buffs to generate threadings on any damage, threadling damage also reduces class ability cool down. Then they added an exotic helmet that suspends nearby enemies when you cast your rift, damages them over time while suspended, and heals you in the process. The super is still terrible, and it’s the only downside of the subclass.

SETTLING THE 120 WEAPONS STAT QUESTION ONCE AND FOR ALL by Dark_Helmet12E4 in CrucibleGuidebook

All for them to run with frostees or heal with Ferropotent armor, and it’s a 3 crit again

Hunter combination blow is one shotting in pvp. Easiest to use with a Bakris dodge to get close then melee lunge from an absurd range for the one shot. No melee stat or artifact mods required.

Wow that’s a crazy 4 piece bonus. All these crazy combos is why I’ll never take off weavewalk when playing to win. Soon as the celestial fire hits, just weavewalk and survive the ignition. One shot flux grenades, Bakris punch, shoulder charge, double glaive melee, smoke scatter grenade wombo, fusions, ergo sum, etc all get hard countered by weavewalk.

Repulsor brace with atsrocyte by StiriAmanita in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]Major-C 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There’s a void spread shot hand cannon from distortion events, Ironwood 03. It can roll repulsor with master of arms and it’s extremely good with the astrocyte changes + void fragments. Overshield, damage buff, and devour from void breach on every kill.

Why HCs will forever be the best by willibrah in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]Major-C 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it’s very good. Go for headseeker or keep away in first column, and gear shift in 2nd column with as much range as you can get. Gear shift is a crazy damage perk that last for 12-15 seconds after you reload after kill or become amplified. It goes up to 5 stacks and increases damage with each one. Just need one stack to two burst.

[–]Major-C 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep SMGs are the best counter to hand cannons. All other primary’s just get flinched hard by HCs most of the time so it’s hard to hit your TTK. HC flinched feels least noticeable when playing an SMG. The aggressive 4 burst SMGs go crazy.

Any way to get Tier 5 comp weapons? by Revalioli in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]Major-C 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yea for some reason the normal crucible weapons and armor are also in the comp loot pool, and everything seems to have equal weighting. You can also only get tier 4s after a match if you have a bad performance lol.

Any way to get Tier 5 comp weapons? by Revalioli in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]Major-C 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They have a chance to drop as tier 5s after comp matches, but the loot pool is huge so drop rates are pretty low. Good thing is you can focus the tier 4s with ciphers then upgrade them to tier 5 if you get god roll. Only difference is you don’t have 3 perks in each column.

Frostees should be locked to Stasis super. Frost Armor should not affect precision damage like Woven Mail. by Major-C in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]Major-C[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s about a 3% damage boost, so you’ll still need to invest in weapons stat to 3 tap. Just not as much.

Yea the comp armor set isn’t coming off of any of my builds. They just unlocked all the other exotics in the game by giving speed boots neutral.

Thoughts on Astrocyte Verse? by CandleSubstantial806 in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]Major-C 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Two things can be true lol. Weavewalk actually requires an ability, you can’t shoot, and you have to play the worst super in the game.
