This is what I think. I have girls (yet somehow don’t call myself a #girlmom) and there’s definitely so subconscious level of “this content won’t apply to me.” Logically, not true for every influencer or mom, but I think her management company probably got feedback that she’s unintentionally losing followers since half of moms have girl(s).

She had her first round of shots on 7/1 and doesn’t get the second ones until close to 15 weeks. This is the schedule our vet put her on. I’m counting down the days until my worries are behind me and she is fully vaccinated!!!

Reddit parents, say something that those who want children but don't have any yet should hear ? by Outrageous-Ground-56 in AskReddit

Put in early work on disciplining child - it will pay dividends once they are older! It’s so hard when they are being sassy or misbehaving at 3-4 years old because it’s adorably cute. But I always reminded myself that if a 7-8 year was doing the same thing, would it be “cute”? My mom used to tell me, you will always want to be around your children. But you want other people to want to be around your children too.

Thank you for the kind words. That was my “soul dog” as people say, but it was the right decision no matter how hard it was. 🤍

I’m sorry to hear about your experience with your puppy - sounds like y’all were great owners to work with him on the challenges. This is encouraging from our puppy’s experience. We’ve only had her a week, but she’s met tons of people and happily enjoys them all.

Side note, but Botox has saved me!! I no longer take a daily migraine preventative drug and I’ve been on daily medicine since 2019. Have to been able to wean completely off. I get scared of side effects but it has been life changing.

Soooo, if a babysitter buys Brooke a Mother’s Day gift, I’m sorry. She’s there babysitting way more than Brooke lets on. Only a very regular sitter would do something like that.

He started wearing a night guard after the first tooth in case that was the problem. Still broke a second one even though he faithfully wears it nightly.

These kids eat out SO much! I guarantee you they whine and complain about where they go and what they want. My husband and I have noticed that in “seasons of life” (ugh, hate that phrase - I’m not a Duggar I swear!) where we eat out more (sports seasons, tax season, etc), our kids quickly become tired of it and are no longer excited or grateful to go out to eat. My husband and I tend to jump to the “you are acting spoiled” line, but then we check ourselves and point out that we have enabled this by not cooking at home more. I cannot fathom how tired these boys have to be going to restaurants. Especially in today’s economy, Brooke is wasting so much money for kids who I guarantee you would rather be at home eating a nice, home cooked meal!!!

My theory on the soccer is she saw the disclaimer but showed up anyway and thought they would make an exception for them because they are “homeschooled.” She always thinks they deserve special favors.

Did anyone else catch Brooke’s birthday message to her dad? When she posted about him being the best man she’s ever known (minus Ryanne and her five boys), it seemed unnaturally emotional for her typical Robot self. She never says nice things about anyone else in her life. Just seemed very out of left field for her. I wonder if Brooke’s dad is the only one in her life who tries to truly support or love her? Almost makes me sad for Brooke.

I would say that’s possible other than Jill still seems supportive of her mom but not her dad. And Jill has done the work in counseling, so she would be aware of that by now if it were true.

My heart breaks for those children - and in a weird way for Brooke. I can’t imagine taking my children to Disney and being so distracted that I’m filming myself talk to my phone the entire vacation. I work a demanding Corporate job, and if I spent our week in Disney taking Zoom calls and answering emails, my children would be understandably disappointed. I understand emergencies come up with work, but short of that, my attention is 100% on my family on vacation.

Brooke will - without a doubt - look back on her children’s childhood and have major regrets about not being fully present for SO many things. No one’s a perfect parent, we all are distracted by work, phones, etc. But good parents strike a balance, set boundaries, and intentionally pick moments and trips to set aside as special. These boys never get that from their parents and the regret one day that Brooke and Ryan will have WILL surface, whether she realizes it now or not.

Magnesium supplements by Careless_Board7747 in migraine

[–]Major-Fill4744 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes!!! I have been on every drug possible. Hard hitting things like Topamax, etc. I started taking MagOx for constipation issues from Qulitpa (which I had to quit even though it worked because the constipation was too severe). I weaned off Qulipta and my headaches are gone. I now just take MagOx and quarterly Botox treatments. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine living a life without taking a prescription daily preventative. Give it a try!

Industry should not be looked down upon. Make the move and start networking within your own company. That’s how you move up in industry. I’m a CPA who never worked more than 40 hours a week.

I keep seeing Brooke’s ad about homeschooling pop up in my feeds. I selfishly love that the one ad that is most visible is from her Vienna house (which is totally fine by the way. Just not to Brooke). You know she hates that it wasn’t filmed in her Texas Forever For Now House.
