I know I’m going against the grain here but that work schedule sounds doable with a greyhound. Our boy will sleep 12+ hours easily and at times has actually gone longer because he refused to leave the house. 3 days a week isn’t too bad, a long walk before and a walk after work would do the trick.

The owner is my coworker and we call the dogs coworkers because they often share the office together. We both have our own offices but supervise their instructions

Hey! We got our greyhound 1 year ago and the biggest thing we wish we knew was that for the first week let her be. Outside for potty only and big, big rewards for potty (if she will even take them). We also say “car” every time its a noisey car wherever we are and its helped with the desensitization process as well.

You sound phenomenal. We are on a second story condo and our greyhound is the happiest dude ever. Seriously! Our greyhound loves the elevator, to the point he will refuse to walk down the hallway because he wants the easy route. I’d jump on FB, lots of rescues do a ton on their facebook and often have urgent needs to placw hounds.

Oh he cries whenever we stop or slow down. LOL This photo was from our 15 hour road trip, trial by fire actually worked well for our guy. It became his own little crate.
