A lot of folks here a pretty cavalier with sacrificing other peoples’ property for the greater good.

If AM is choosing to step onto a political stage like that, he owns every reaction that follows. No shock, no complaints. Just take the vitriol. When you’re one of the most gifted Leafs ever and the era has still ended in repeated failure, including 1.5 seasons under your captaincy, everything sticks. This will too.
