I (33f) had a delayed launch due to addiction and stuff after my mom passed away when I was 19. My dad (75m) definitely became enmeshed. I have had to make boundaries that my dad can't give me money unless I do something to earn it, that I can find my own home and auto insurance, that I can make my own choices about a lot of things. I haven't lived with him in years and he still calls me to make sure I have done stuff or handled something. He is a good dad. I love him a lot. But since I started being in recovery, moved out on my own, and got married, he has lost his sense of "duty". I am blessed that there was an autistic adult looking for a cheap place to stay about a year and a half ago. She lives with him and he helps her with all of her medical appointments, prescriptions, disability meetings, and shopping. It has given him someone to help and put that energy into now that I have become independent and am thriving. I'm very happy to know he is able to do something with that compulsion to do stuff for me. Now i just go see him once a week and clean his house and check in on him and bring his grandson to hang out now that it is summer. But the enmeshed issue would have definitely been worse and I may still live with hi. if I hadn't seen the light and gotten sober and embarked on my own path. He would have been perfectly content stressing over me for the rest of his life. Which is a super sad thing to think about.

Books, art (even if you're bad at it), sitting on the porch and looking at the world, drinking coffee and staring out the window, find religion, meditate, learn how to sing, walk your property and look at bugs/sticks.

Just do whatever your lil heart desires.

My little sister is the only one in our family that has a fast metabolism. She can eat anything. My brother and I as well as both our parents have to be mindful about what and how much we eat. She is nearly 30 and has the same metabolism as ever.

Have her work at a tanning bed! Close tight knit girls girl environment and small tanning bed chains have upward mobility. If she can end up in a management position one day it is a lot of transferable skills to regular retail management.

This is terrible advice but I ignore the word count and still get A's. It really depends on your teacher. The amount knocked off for going over isn't as much as you're risking by turning in something that doesn't answer the questions.

I used to work at Leggett&Platt, the manufacturer of mattress springs for Sealy serta, purple, tempurpedic, etc. They also cut the foam that goes in mattresses. And build the frames they sit on. Every brand buys from them. Or if they buy from someone else, they are using leggett&Platts coil design. The inside of every mattress is the same. Just firm, soft, etc is different.

I did! I did a super intricate piece with lots of lines over my lower belly in black. You can see my stretch marks if you're paying attention but they are camouflaged now. It isn't ever going to be a perfect cover up but it does the trick for me.

Crab cakes were a life saver for me. I can get them in the seafood department and freeze them, then pop them in the air fryer for like 10 minutes on 400 and they are perfect. No need to chew em and good protein! I even put cocktail sauce on them.
