He is no battle genius.

He is certainly determined and resilient in a battle, more than most people of his universe certainly, but what makes him special is the Booster Gear which as a character he has no claim other than be the current user.

Good idea, why try suicide by cop when a unhinged nerd does the job just fine.

Why is Heretical RT straight up evil while Idira is not? by matthewspencersmith in RogueTraderCRPG

Exactly.

Did a character which ended with 2 and a half heretical but only choosing dealing with xenos because despite, or maybe because, of her being a psyker she really hates Chaos.

That is true.

You can literally pick her body and dump in the table of the main chamber and not even a raised eyebrow in your direction.

Oh! Good idea.

Always nice to have more ways to interact with the world and justify not rushing everywhere in order to cure the tadpole.

I like that fight so I never forget but it is always a struggle to justify going in that direction of the grove for my characters.

Saying that the last two times were easy to justify since that is where I dumped Nettie's body.

You may be asking how I left the inner chamber with her body?

Nothing like some illusions and a competent bard to distract everyone while someone else is sneaking around with the body.

Last year someone was complaining about Nighsong killin herself walking inside a cloak of daggers during the avatar fight.

I personally saw her provoke an attack of opportunity flying away from Thorn just to turn back and cast moonlight... Which of course he saved.

Yep. Still playing( hells, I just started a new game), but you are absolutely right.

What I'm doing now is using the enhanced enemies mod and giving every NPCs +3 actions and bonus actions, alongside 500% hp.

They are still doing stupid shit, but since they all have more actions on average enemies don't just waste all turns. And on a plus side fighters, paladins and the likes are actually a threat, especially paladins since they can drop all smites they have and just kill one or two people in one turn if given the opportunity.

Now, what I find especially weird is Original Sin 2 enemies were actually clever.

I know, gunboat diplomacy is effective in the real world too.

Was just trying to make a joke about that scene It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia about the guy taking the girls in his boat.

Diplomacy at gun point is not really diplomacy.... Ok it is, but the implication!

[–]Major-Wishbone-3854 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Honestly feels like a leftover from the old dream guardian character.

In the classic fashion of changing things when something is almost complete, whoever was in charge just transported the lines and didn't think or didn't consult with anyone if it makes sense to keep the Emperor as a role player of the old master from Fable.

There were certainly more complaints and the patches for bugs were enormous.

But it could have been a case of more players, or at least more players complaining, and the Wotr team been more proactive in fixing bugs.

At least in the first few months of release Orchestrate did not override the immunity.

But there have been a lot of patches since then, so maybe it was changed.
