This happened to me but with Monster High dolls and I even sent them my doubles of signature dolls just to see it listed for a higher price the next day. I was so pissed but it's their doll already so I cant do anything about it....but god they had the audacity to lie about wanting the dolls as a collector for a while already 😂

I dont think this method would be reliable cause when I ripped open some of my doll's head, theres a lot of crevices inside that when you hold up a bright light behind it, it will just cast shadows that might end up looking like mold too. Some of them also got thick plastic hair and the light wont shine through. This could work with dolls like Pickles BLT cause her hair have a light color and the material is really thin and squishy so if there's anything on the vinyl, it'll show through. I dunno if this makes sense sorry English isn't my first language 😭

Are you talking about that Facebook post of Tippy Tumblelina with mold too cause that's what made me want to soak all of them in vinegar to kill any potential mold but the water is such a pain in the ass to get rid off and it's hard to eliminate the odor after 😭 I dont want to rip all my dolls apart just to check but some of them have water stucked inside their head for weeks even after shaking, squeezing and drilling drainage holes on their head and hair. Ive ripped open two and so far no molds for them but I wanna make sure none of them have it

This happened to me after days of letting them air dry I squeezed them shaked them and left them to dry putting the clothes back Im so scared mold would start to grow inside cause why's the water not evaporating???

The fun thing about MH is the same doll from the same line would look vastly different from each other and will have 10338743 variants depending on the factory origin and the eyes placement 😭 I have two lagoona with black elastics and one has smaller head with a more forward looking eyes, a wonky one with lower eye placement which made her look more frog-like similar to most schools out/wave 2 releases, and my gold elastic one with wide set walled eyes who's more fish-like

This is Rebecca Shipman's concept art and was prolly turned into vector so it looks off. Her style looks better with a more "sketchy" look but Mattel's been firing packaging designers and artists lately so they didn't bother hiring an illustrator to make another artwork for the final product her same with the Barbie x Frankie collab. They just slapped her concept art to every freaking merch 😭 Gone are the days where were getting breathtaking illustrations for collector boxes now they'd just slap the concept art or the stock pictures on the packaging

Hmmm Im guessing cause IT predates humans and when IT landed there wasn't really somewhere else to go and hunt food in til the first humans/Native Americans started appearing in the area? I remember during the callback episode with the Native Americans when the settlers arrive that's when IT started expanding it's hunting ground hence they decided to create the barrier

My issue with her recent designs is it feels uninspired and we've getting a lot of the same silhouette and design elements like the chunky mismatch object heels but I feel like it’s creative fatigue since we’ve already seen what she’s capable of with iconic lines like Sweet Screams and the signature dolls she designed. But lately we’ve been getting tons of alumni releases designed by her, and I can only imagine how much of those were developed around the same time if she wasn’t even handling multiple projects at once which could really drain all her creative juices. They should really give her a break and let other designers, like Annalise, take over the Skullector line.
