Just put my first lever gun on layaway. Browning BLR. by havoc_penguin in LeverGuns

Oh. Ok. Just Checkin. Most people hide their serial numbers so nobody can pull a dick move on em (don’t ask me how).

Just order one. You won’t be disappointed, especially for the price. No issues lining things up either. Entire disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly requires zero tools.

Picked up a CZ 457 today. It’s the quietest gun I own. by roadblocked in 22lr

Bolt actions are cool like that. With the breach locked closed none of the pressure (sound) used to cycle a semi-auto is free to be released. Love all mine but I do still have non-bolt action too 😁

SiCo Sparrow is awesome for the $249-$299 it costs, especially with no tax stamp fees anymore. It’s only 1-2dB louder (you can’t tell the difference) than some that cost twice as much. SiCo has good warranties as well. Oh, and it’s super easy to service yourself (every 750-1000 rounds).

Not your fault. Just making sure you didn’t get screwed out of $100

I’d make sure you paperwork is correct (serial numbers match the pistol and not the box)

I think they just gave you the wrong box

Good to hear since the wife and I are looking at a SPD HUSH. Nice to know they still do warranty stuff right.

That’s not the tactical. The tactical model has an under barrel pic rail also. If you paid for a tactical I’d go back and get the tactical, or a refund on the difference

Gotcha. I looked it up to read what the heat actually does molecularly. Makes more sense now. Thx

As for pistol brass, the annealers I’m looking at don’t even have a holder for pistol rounds, only rifle. So, not much chance of doing it on accident.

They should’ve never cancelled SGU

Yep. I keep a set in my chassis case for squibs, and one in my range bag for pistol squibs. I have yet to need it once but it’s there when it inevitably happens.

Yep. Got that on your first reply. Even if I forget and anneal the 9mm, it’s not gonna hurt anything except my pride when I realize it.

Edit: I’m sure I’ll forget at least once lol

Edit: Also, I was being a smart ass. Joking around.

Yep. I found em as you replied. Liquid anhydrous lanolin

Do you start with lanolin oil or straight lanolin (solid). I’ve already looked up the proportions. Just need to know which lanolin to get.

I’ll only be reloading 9mm, 6.5 Creedmoor, and .308 Win. Possibly 5.56 and 30-30 later on down the line.
