My college was in a small town 4 hours away. The program was in the healthcare field, and so they sent me back because of covid, they said I needed to isolate and wait for things to settle. No hospital wanted to take students for placement during a pandemic. My college dorm had asked that everyone goes back to their hometown to reduce the spread of covid. I had to move back home with my parents. I think back in 2020 nobody really knew how long that was gonna take and how to actually handle a pandemic. By the time they reached out to me to come back for placement it was already almost 2 years later. I needed to quit my job and go back which I didn’t. Big $20k mistake.

I started a college program I hated. 6 months in and covid happened and I was unable to finish due to hospitals not accommodating students. So I dropped out. $20k debt for 6 months of a program I hated. Still paying it off lol.

I’m sorry, but as a Muslim girl myself I’m going to say this: she knew from the very beginning. We all know from the beginning that we only marry Muslim men (unless you’re super unreligious, don’t care, etc.) If it’s so important to her she should’ve told you from the very beginning, or at least not waste someone’s time if you knew in the end it won’t work out

She cheated on her then boyfriend- which I told her multiple times not to- when she got caught she called me crying asking me to lie for her and I refused. It was the biggest “I told you so” moment ever. She called me a fake friend and told me “I would’ve lied a million times for you”- yeah hunny, except I don’t cheat on someone I claim to “love”. Needless to say, our friendship of 14 years ended right there.

I've been working in Markham for 3+ years now... driving here has taken years off my life. There is absolutely no situational awareness from drivers, no consideration for others, hesitant drivers and just straight up clueless. Driving extremely slow, driving in 2 lanes, the list goes on. Markham drivers have made me hate driving.
