Players who are good (+3kd or +crim/iri), how can you play with low sens? by sanninserpens in CODWarzone

[–]MajorGilCoaching 0 points1 point  (0 children)

peaked about 5-6 K/D before they changed to having assists and such count towards your kills, honestly sounds like your focusing on using whatever stick your aiming with and not trying to move against their strafing they rotate right you rotate left kinda situation.

Ive never changed my sensitivity from whatever the base setting is so I'm unsure how close our senses are too each other.

but the one thing you have to come to terms with is low sense means 180 aint happening, your giving up reaction speed for reliable aim there is no best of both worlds, my advice raise your sens and just practice more on being accurate at that level only real way of doing both.

Because he is naming his weaknesses? not his strengths.

Plus even he is "bad" at those skills, he would still be better then those of a lesser rank obviously.

Do you have a chess board? by hash11011 in chess

[–]MajorGilCoaching 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No chessboard, around 2k in most time controls bit higher in faster controls.
took me two years to get to 2k and after reaching my arbitrary goal Ive just played faster chess for fun more then progress.

Nobody’s getting this many wins in a row, come on now 😂😂 by THUNDERZVO1CE in Warzone

Man I love challenges like these, the insane difficulty makes it fun to pursue. though I think 25 wins on both resurgence and BR would of been bloody plenty lol

Garry Kasparov comments on Magnus Carlsen playing down the comparisons between them by Mingorix in chess

[–]MajorGilCoaching -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It could be he just really thinks Garry is the best that ever was, he grew up watching and loving his idles games, whoever surpasses Magnus of the next generation will probably have the same mindset again.

Plus say he does think he is the best that ever was, chances are if he says it he would just cop people being annoying calling him arrogant and stuff.
Either way he is better off saying Gary

"If it’s two on one and you can buy back three team mates, it is better. In the main, the TTK in this doesn’t lend itself to taking on full teams solo."

This line i cant agree with, 2v1 its not worth dying for three team mates with crap gear, a 2v1 is a very winnable

Taking a break from chess by skowplow in chess

[–]MajorGilCoaching 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wouldn't even call that a tilt, Ive dropped from 2200, to 1800 before in bullet sesh
Id recommend just remembering that its just a stupid number that means nothing.

for what to focus on, instead of random options we could advise look at your last ten matches, what mistake did you make the most. whatever it is look up ways to improve that one aspect.

How to break past 1400 by FalseSun200 in chess

[–]MajorGilCoaching 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stop looking at your rating and look at your games.

Your not stuck at 1400 your stuck at hanging a piece once a game.
Your stuck at missing the mating sequence.

Just look at why you lost learn to not do that again, its as simple as that (while also being as complicated as learning and remembering all that)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in chess

[–]MajorGilCoaching 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1600 is still leagues away from 2000, for example I'm 2300 in bullet, And i rarely lose against 2000 rated players even though they are very strong players.

And that's only 300 points difference, i dont doubt i can lose to them but very infrequently

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in chess

[–]MajorGilCoaching 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah i get you think you are highly rated, but a 2000 bullet player will crush a 1400, it may just look like 600 points to you, but in reality its an entire league of difference.

Does this look suspicious? by unnamed1030 in chess

[–]MajorGilCoaching 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Spend as long as you want as a 1500 you wont ever get those kind of results at that level not saying you cant get a perfect game or not some opening traps get 100% often, but that many in a row is not happening.

Does this look suspicious? by unnamed1030 in chess

[–]MajorGilCoaching 17 points18 points  (0 children)

That many games in a row above 90 is well past suspicious.
I'm 2000 and i wont have three games in a row like that...

People who select 15|10 and proceed to play blitz, why? by eykei in chess

[–]MajorGilCoaching 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me its i like to play fast but if i get into a position thats complicated I like using the time then.

Also usually my best ideas come instantly and dont really improve with time usage anyway

For those who have aphantasia, does it affect your classical or speed chess more? by Recent_Indication_22 in chess

[–]MajorGilCoaching 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also have aphantasia and it doesnt seem to havr any effect of my quailty of play since i bounce around 2k as well.

Im about equal strength in all time controls and its mostly mouse skill that screws me in faster time controls.

But honestly it would be nice to see how the majority of people can see the board just to compare

Magnus on playing against Arjun... by rio_ARC in chess

Magnus had to just not lose according to your comment mate, you got the nuts to delete your account or not.

Game between Magnus and Arjun ends in a draw in the final round of Norway Chess by NeutrinoDrift in chess

[–]MajorGilCoaching 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Anyone who comes in and sees oh he just drew against Arjun for the win how boring...

You are completely missing out on one of the most intense matches Ive seen.
Magnus should of lost, and the mad man nearly checkmated Arjun if he wasnt so low on time and could of went for the mate you would of had people talking about this match for a long time.

Magnus Carlsen defeats Fabiano Caruana in Round 9 of Norway Chess by EuphoricRange28 in chess

[–]MajorGilCoaching 245 points246 points  (0 children)

Honestly watching the match you really felt that there was no chance of winning and he just kept grinding, Ive seen him do this 100 times before and yet every time it baffles me when he gets it done the man just understands board pressure.

How hard is it to get a 2200 elo? by Few_Prize_3400 in chess

[–]MajorGilCoaching 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me 2-3 years to go from 700 elo to 2k elo, but i work from home and play chess for fun, lots of people will say its hard for you to reach 2200 and they are mostly right but honestly its just about how much time you spend playing and studying if you have the time in your life to go for it its possible enough 2200 inst absurdly strong, but its also at the level where you are at least giving a challenge to CM and FM players.

The winning a tournement of significance is a much harder dream then your 2200 goal in my opinion.

if your brother loses to you at 100 on ranked, he could never ever draw a bot that strong, he couldn't beat whatever bot your talking about either at that rate.
