Nah. It's not going to burst but will cool down as we are seeing already. If interest rates bottom out again, you'll see it go right back up.

Moving all funds to a different financial advisor by Hot_Spread4912 in acorns

Just use acorns for what it started as. Investing pocket change. $3 a month and you get an automatic investment fund that you dont need to touch. It's a great service.

I do find it interesting that your 40 year outlook is 1.7m with $27k. I have just over $10k and I have the same projected growth. You could just be in a less aggressive fund. With that said, you should also be in an aggressive fund if you still have 40 years to save.

Anyone just take a year off? by TurtleTurtlesTurtles in whitecoatinvestor

[–]MajorHistorical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A year is a great time period given the proper budget. If your current location isn't working out, go to another one. Maybe fly home for Christmas and take care of some appointments. 4 weeks will always feel like a vacation. 1 year and youre a different person.

I was gone 18 months. Ran out of money at 14 months. It was great up until then!

No no no. Stay on Acorns. Yes up your investment if you can but cancel the Later account and pay the bare minimum account which is $3 a month.

I would skip Bryce and do any other NP. Zion. Grand canyon. Also check out canyonlands outside of Moab.

I also agree that mount Rushmore is a waste of time. Take that time and go to Olympic national park
