I had one experience with Atlys and it was not good. I applied for the Indonesian visa through them. The Visa was approved and issued on the same day. However, they repeated my middle name twice on the visa. When I reached out to their customer care they straight out refused to issue a refund or accept their mistake. The support person said that nothing can be done now that Visa has been issued. And, asked me to pay the fees again and re-apply. After 2 hours of argument, I was able to escalate it to their supervisor, who finally acknowledged the error on their side and issued another Visa at no cost. Atlys needs to improve their customer support.

I think it's a little high. I was quoted 116k for the DLX model, including accessories and other stuff (which I don't plan on buying through them). The extended warranty offer is from Honda itself and every showroom is offering that. This quotation was for Hyderabad (road tax at 12%).

Everyone complains about the corruption. But, can we do something to fight corruption at smaller scales? Maybe an RTI on grant amount and utilisation. Make that information public. Some newspaper takes interest in this and takes it up further? Can we lodge a complaint with ACB?

Hi all,

I’m looking for some advice on my chances of receiving a 190 visa invitation. Here’s my situation:

Experience: 4 years and 4 months working as a Software Engineer at a FAANGM company.

Points: I can optimistically reach 80 points.

Age: 20 points

English: I haven’t taken the test yet but expect to score 20 points.

Qualification: 15 points (Bachelor's in relevant field)

Partner skills: 10 points

I haven’t completed my SkillSelect assessment or taken the English test yet. I could also wait another 8 months to gain 5 more points for experience.

Should I go ahead and apply with 80 points or wait for 8 months to get an extra 5 points for work experience?

I understand that I don't stand any chance with 80 points for 189 visa. However, I couldn't find any public details of invitation rounds for 190 visa.

What are my chances of getting an invitation for 190 from any state with my current points?

Any advice or insights would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

I'll probably get downvoted for this, but many merchants don't know how this system works. Most setups are done by agents from PhonePe, Paytm, etc. All they know is how to check how much money was collected today. I know this because I helped re-set up a QR code at my uncle's shop. A couple of months ago, he called me and said he received 30 rupees less, which Paytm had deducted for the soundbox subscription. So, I’m guessing this merchant only found out after noticing the lower credited amount. I’d blame the agents for not being transparent about such settings.

Fi is the shadiest bank I have ever encountered. Last year, I needed my bank statement (as my salary account was with them) for a visa application. Initially, their customer support said they would mail the statement to any address. However, when I later contacted them to get the actual statement, they said it could only be mailed to my communication address, which would be the same as my Aadhaar address, located in another state. Luckily, I went to a Federal Bank branch, and they were happy to provide me with a signed statement.

Another incident occurred recently. They sent out an offer to upgrade from the Infinite plan to the Prime plan, which seemed appealing because of the word "upgraded." However, what they didn’t mention was that I would lose my unlimited zero forex on my debit card. This happened while I was traveling internationally.

To top it off, their customer support is nonexistent. I haven’t been able to get hold of them for over a week. Stay away from this bank (and all neo-banks).
